About me and my therapy practice
Looking for a counsellor takes courage and that’s a positive thing. It shows you’re ready for your future being different to your past, you’re ready for uplevelling your life skills, and you’re ready to figure out some change – in whatever small or large way that would be helpful for you for now.
I am a person-centred psychotherapist ready to support you in that change, and happy to work with you face to face or online, and at whatever pace works best for you.
I specialise in working with anxiety and stress, ADHD and bereavement. If you are experiencing depression or coping with self-esteem challenges then please contact me. I am a qualified 'Rewind' practitioner which is a highly successful practise with trauma and PTSD. I also specialise in couples counselling and if you want relationship changes, again your first step is to email me.
I could tell you that I am warm and personable and could list all the variety of clients that I have worked with as well as my wide experience in schools, education and with families (my own as well as other people’s). More important than that though is for me to understand your story, your situation, your plans and vision for the week, month and year. You are an individual and your situation is also totally unique.
To get us started, I offer a 15 minute (no charge) initial consultation- online on Teams or by phone if you’d prefer. This is an informal chat so that I can better understand what you’d like to see as an outcome of us working together. I can also then answer any questions you might still have.
Practice description
The sessions themselves: I’m happy to work with you in person if you’re happy to travel to my office in Lincoln, however, most clients today prefer the convenience of online sessions. This also means you can work with me wherever you are in the UK or even worldwide.
The therapy I use is of a style where most clients experience change quickly, enabling new thoughts, decisions and actions to happen in just a few sessions. This allows them to move forward with life as speedily as possible and without spending months and a large amount of money in therapy.
Working together towards the outcomes you want is what I do. With positive solutions and strategies that build your clear thinking and confidence for change, you will quickly move forwards to live a happier and more fulfilling life.
I look forward to hearing from you.

I work flexibly to support supervisees, including earlier mornings, evenings and some Saturday mornings.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a person-centred trained psychotherapist, and qualified supervisor, but also work integratively, understanding that as individuals (whether clients or supervisees), we all need unique support.
I provide a safe and non-judgemental space, and believe honesty is the foundation of the counsellor/supervisor relationship. As well as working to protect and deepen this, I work with counsellors to promote confidence and encourage growth.
I will support you to develop and grow in your own individual way, personally and within your role. All sessions are unique to what you need, and are conducted with support, curiosity and gentle challenge. All whilst continuing to hold the client at the centre of all we do.
As a qualified coach, I am also able to use these skills to help you develop further.
Practice description
I gently use the 'normative/formative/restorative' structure, which allows us to check in about:- reflecting on and developing practise, setting goals, increasing knowledge, being aware of standards, legalities, ethics, checking in on your well-being, managing stress, recognising successes etc.
As a registered member of the BACP, I do work in line with their ethical framework. If you are a counsellor or student from a different professional body, we can still work within these and your requirements.
Please get in contact for a no-charge chat where you can ask any questions and make sure you would feel happy working with me.
My fees are:-
£60 per hour for qualified counsellors (£90 for 90 minutes)
£50 per hour for student counsellors (£75 for 90 minutes)
My first session
This includes contracting, to ensure I understand what you need and are hoping for from supervision.
This is also an opportunity to begin building the trust and relationship as I discuss the structure I gently use in supervision sessions, to ensure our time is the most helpful and supportive for you.
I adhere to the ethical framework of the BACP, and this is an opportunity to revisit this and ensure we both feel comfortable and committed here.
