About me and my therapy practice

I offer face to face and online therapy. I am an integrative therapist which means I use a range of counselling and Psychotherapy approaches such as Gestalt theory, Transactional Analysis, Person Centred Counselling theory, arts, play and creative therapy. I specialise in Child and Adolescent therapy.

I offer you kindness, compassion and support when you need it most. I understand the importance of providing a safe and contained space in which you can feel free to express and manage your emotions, using verbal and non-verbal communications to help raise awareness of unfinished business.

I am experienced in using the visual arts, such as drawing, sand tray, clay and paint as tools to understand and unlock your feelings, for you to tell your story, so that I may walk alongside you to help you find confidence, with the aim of exploring the challenges and patterns of behaviour that may be holding you back from living a truly fulfilled life.

Practice description

Whatever has brought you here, may have been something you have long desired to address. You have made the decision to be listened to and are taking the first crucial step of reaching out.

I am here to listen and be there for you, to give you the tools to make sense of your experiences and the confidence to make the changes that will give you the opportunity for growth and happiness.

I hold Diplomas in The Therapeutic and Educational Application of the Arts and Therapeutic Counselling with Adolescents and I am a Registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I have been working with children, young people, and families for over 15 years in various settings, including Primary and Secondary schools, pupil referral units, and colleges.

I know all too well how long waiting lists are for services and how frustrating it can be in getting help for you, or someone else when you need it most.

I have experience of working with a variety of issues, from anxious or traumatised children and families to homeless and substance-misusing teenagers.
