I offer face-to-face counselling in Rainhill, Merseyside on Wednesdays and limited availability on Saturdays, as well as online and telephone counselling which can be offered on a more flexible basis across the UK.

Perhaps your thoughts feel tangled, your confidence has taken a knock, or familiar patterns keep showing up in your relationships. If any of this resonates, you’re not alone and you don't have to try and make sense of things by yourself.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, ADHD burnout, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. I have a particular interest in working with grief, including bereavement, job loss, relationship breakdowns and divorce, as well as supporting domestic abuse survivors and those who find themselves people pleasing or putting others’ needs before their own. These experiences can quietly shape how we see ourselves and relate to others, often leaving us feeling stuck or unsure how to move forward.

I am trained in the person-centred approach, which means the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work. My wider training has included psychodynamic and systemic perspectives, which gently inform my understanding of each client’s experience.

My training and experience includes:

- Masters Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy Practice - Liverpool John Moores University

- BSc in Psychology 

- Child Loss and Bereavement - The Alder Centre

- Post-Qualifying Certificate in Relationship Counselling

- Level 1 in Narrative Therapy

Individual counselling sessions are 50 minutes and cost £50 per session. These are offered on a face-to-face, online or telephone basis. This work begins with a free 15-minute phone or online consultation.

Couples / relationship counselling sessions are 60 minutes and cost £75 per session. These are offered on a face-to-face or online basis. This work begins with a free 30-minute online consultation.

I have a private practice based in Rainhill in a comfortable and private room in Station Street Business Centre. 

There are toilets available to use. The building is on the first floor, so has a flight of stairs to access the counselling room.
