About me and my therapy practice

For those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep and relationship problems, my therapy room is a place where all my clients can unmask and be their authentic selves, and Autistic/ADHD clients can stim freely without judgment.

I work with all neurotypes but my experience and training has enabled me to work effectively with neurodivergent clients (ASD/ADHD) as I am more aware of sensory overload, overstimulation and autistic burnout. For those struggling with eye contact my rooms can easily be adapted to suit clients needs.

I endeavour to help my clients regulate themselves and welcome requests for reasonable adjustments, so they can get the most out of our sessions together.

My degree in intergrative psychotherapy enables me to integrate different skills I'm trained in to adapt to my clients vastly varying needs, whilst giving empathy, compassion and a safe space to heal.

In addition to the traditional talking therapy I like to use art, sand play, pebbles and gestalt therapy in my sessions.

I also have additional qualifications and training in

• Art and Design (Diploma)

• Shame

• Child Sexual Abuse

• Mental health of Autistic teenagers

Practice description

I can appreciate seeking counselling can be a daunting and overwhelming time for anyone, so I like to take a slow and relaxed approach in my sessions and get to know the client and their individual needs.

It is important to me that we go at the clients pace at all times and that my clients feel comfortable and at ease with me.

I have a deep empathy for the neurodivergent experience (ASD/ADHD) and the suffering it can cause, and aim to offer compassion and a judgement free safe space for all my clients.

I am also LGBTQ friendly and consider myself an ally to the LGBTQ community.

I have calm, quiet, discreet rooms in Camberley (Deepcut) and Guildford with various availability,  please feel free to ask me my current availability as it may vary from my website

My first session

Initially, I offer a 15 minute free phone session to determine whether or not we might be able to work together.

If so, our first full session will entail us briefly going through the therapeutic contract together. This keeps us both safe and outlines the boundaries going forward for therapy.

I will take some personal details with your consent, and I will listen to your needs, any questions you may have, and what you are hoping to get from therapy.

Following this our session will commence and this will be led by you at your own pace.
