About me and my therapy practice

My therapeutic practice is deeply and empathically rooted in relational and body psychotherapy. I emphasize the interconnectedness of mind, body, and relationships, facilitating reflection and offering challenge and liberation. This might mean exploring how the dynamics within our relationships are embodied in real time and how our physical states influence our emotional lives. This might also mean using techniques such as breathwork, movement exercises, or mindfulness.

My approach is holistic and trauma-informed, supporting the creation of a mutually influential space that can deepen understanding and promote growth and healing.

Practice description

I will listen to the experiences you bring of early life, behaviours, feelings, and the emotions that impact your present actions with understanding and acceptance. Exploring how these experiences have influenced you, I firmly believe you are not irrevocably tethered to your past.

I invite you to collaborate with me on a journey of creation, discovery and clarity towards attunement with the world and energy around you

I practice in-person and online.

My first session

The first session is about gathering information. I will ask questions about you, your background, and the reasons you're seeking therapy. I might ask you about your current concerns, life history, family background, and any previous experiences you may have had with therapy.

We will work together to establish goals for your therapy. These goals might be specific (e.g., developing coping strategies for anxiety) or more general (e.g., improving overall well-being).

I will explain a bit more about the approaches I can use to work with you and agree on a way forward together.

As our work together progresses, your needs or goals may change, and our focus or approach might shift accordingly. It's a collaborative process where you can provide feedback about what's working or not working for you.

All sessions are confidential, with some legal and ethical exceptions related to safety.
