About me and my therapy practice

I practice using existential Therapy, exploring meaning, choice and authenticity

As an existential therapist, I draw on both my professional training and personal experience to help individuals explore the deeper aspects of their lives. I trained at Regent’s University, where I developed a thorough understanding of existential philosophy and therapeutic techniques. My approach focuses on the key themes of freedom, responsibility, meaning, and the human experience of uncertainty.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a radiographer in the NHS, where I spent many years interacting with people in moments of vulnerability and distress. This background has deepened my appreciation for the complexities of health, illness, and mortality, providing me with a unique perspective on how existential themes show up in everyday life. It also informs my compassionate, grounded approach to therapy.

In our work together, I aim to create a safe and open space for you to explore the existential questions that matter most—whether it's navigating personal transitions, dealing with anxiety or loss, or finding clarity in your purpose. I believe that confronting these questions with courage and honesty can unlock new possibilities, allowing you to lead a more authentic and fulfilling life.

By combining the rich insights of existential philosophy with practical therapeutic tools, I strive to help you connect more deeply with yourself, make empowered choices, and embrace the complexities of your journey.

Practice description

Working existentially means that we use the session to explore what is going on within your life, and the circumstances that lead you to this point. We use this as a starting point to examine a different perspective and look at what options are available to you as well as what staying in your current situation looks like. i also work by exploring why you choose to stay or why you want to change your current life path.

I currently work both in-person and online.

My first session

I offer a 20 minute free phone conversation to assess if we would like to work together.

Then a one-off introduction session of 50 minutes before any commitment is discussed.
