About me and my therapy practice
I offer confidential, compassionate therapy for individuals who want to understand themselves better, work through emotional challenges, and build healthier patterns in their lives.
I support individuals and couples dealing with anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship difficulties, trauma, loss, and low self-esteem. Sessions focus on developing insight, strengthening emotional resilience, and creating practical strategies that support long-term wellbeing.
Practice description
My work with couples is informed by the Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) model, which helps partners understand emotional patterns, improve communication, and build stronger, more secure connections.
Alongside therapy, I also offer a mediation-focused service for couples and families. This is a short-term, structured piece of work designed to support people in navigating conflict, improving communication, and reaching mutual understanding. The emphasis here is on mediation rather than ongoing therapy.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), an effective method for processing trauma, distressing memories, and the emotional impact of difficult life events. EMDR can help reduce emotional intensity, build resilience, and support clients in moving forward with greater clarity and stability.
I support clients with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, offering a safe, non-judgemental space to explore whatever they may be facing.
