About me and my therapy practice

I know it can take courage to look for a therapist, and I offer you a warm and genuine welcome.

You may be here because something has shifted recently, and you are wondering if therapy could help.

I am a counsellor and psychotherapist offering online therapy across the UK via secure video or telephone. My approach is integrative and primarily person centred, with CBT used where helpful. I shape the work around your needs and what feels most helpful for you. I bring curiosity, steadiness, and a non judgemental space where you can speak honestly and be met with care. We may also explore a more active, structured focus, depending on what you need.

I hold an MSc (Distinction) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Salford, a Biochemistry degree from the University of Liverpool, and have completed Level 6 Supervisor training. My background includes extensive charity sector work with diverse communities and underprivileged youth, coaching young men through the pressures of college and university life, delivering wellbeing workshops, and volunteering with The Stroke Association. My own minoritised background means I bring a lived understanding of cultural challenges, systemic barriers, and the role identity can play in mental health. I can meet you where you are.

Additionally, I have a particular interest in the impact of technology on mental health, from social media pressures and digital expectations to the way online life shapes self image. My research on AI explored the use of technology in the treatment of anxiety and depression, deepening my interest in how emerging technologies may impact mental health and shape the future of support.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low confidence, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Whatever brings you here, this is a space where you can be real without filters.

I am welcoming new clients and would be glad to hear from you if we feel like a good fit.

Practice description

I offer confidential one to one therapy for adults, available online across the UK via secure video or telephone. Sessions are a full 60 minutes and can be arranged flexibly, including evenings, to fit around work, study, or caring responsibilities.

I work both short term and open ended. Some clients come with a specific issue and a clear timeframe in mind; others prefer to work without a set end point and let the process unfold. I am happy to discuss what feels right for you. I work privately and can accommodate concessions for those on lower incomes. Please get in touch to discuss.

Remote therapy removes the barriers of travel and waiting rooms. It can help people show up more comfortably, from a space that already feels safe to them.

My first session

I offer a free 15 minute initial consultation by video or telephone before we begin. This is a relaxed, informal conversation where you can ask questions and get a sense of how I work. No question is too small, and it is important that you have a chance to see how you would feel about working with me. There is no obligation whatsoever.

We do not need to commit to a set number of sessions in advance. We check in regularly about how the work is going, and you are free to pause or end at any time.

In that first call, I simply invite you to share what has brought you here, as much or as little as feels comfortable. We work together from there.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Supervisor - Liverpool

About me and my therapy practice

Finding the right supervisor can feel big. You are trusting someone with your work, doubts and the parts you don't show anywhere else. If you are here, you are already taking an important step for yourself and for your clients.

I am a counsellor and psychotherapist offering online supervision across the UK via secure video or telephone. My approach is integrative and primarily person centred, with CBT used where helpful. Supervision is grounded in the Seven Eyed Model, helping us look at your work from multiple angles: your client, your interventions, the therapeutic and supervisory relationships, and the wider context you are in. I also draw on a Queer 7 Eyed Model, bringing an explicitly intersectional and GSRD aware lens so we can attend to sexuality, gender, relationship diversity, power and oppression where these are present.

In practice, that means we can think together not just about "what to do", but also about how identity, culture and systems shape your clients and you. I hold supervision as a collaborative space of support and accountability: somewhere you can be honest about uncertainty and stuckness, while also feeling gently challenged in service of your growth and your clients.

I hold an MSc (Distinction) in Counselling and Psychotherapy (University of Salford), a Biochemistry degree (University of Liverpool) and Level 6 Supervisor training. My background includes extensive charity sector work with diverse communities and under resourced youth, coaching students, delivering wellbeing workshops and volunteering with The Stroke Association.

My own minoritised background informs my interest in power, privilege and oppression, and I aim to hold these conversations with care rather than shame. I work with trainees and qualified practitioners who want a reflective, supportive space to explore their practice with curiosity and honesty. If this sounds like the kind of supervision you are looking for, you are very welcome to get in touch.

Practice description

I offer confidential one to one supervision for counsellors, trainees and other mental health practitioners, available online via secure video or telephone. Sessions are usually 60 minutes and can be arranged flexibly, including some evenings, to fit around your workload.

Supervision offers a reflective, supportive space to explore your practice with curiosity and clarity. Using the Seven Eyed Model and a Queer 7 Eyed lens, we can focus on:

  • Making sense of your relational process with clients, including stuck places and repeating patterns
  • Navigating ethical questions and risk in a way that feels containing rather than shaming
  • Linking theory and interventions with the real world complexity of your caseload
  • Attending to culture, identity, power and systemic factors in your work and in our supervisory relationship
  • Making room for your own feelings, fatigue and growth as a practitioner
  • Strengthening your confidence and therapeutic voice over time

Supervision can be short term and focused, or ongoing. We will agree what you hope supervision will support, and review this regularly so it stays aligned with your evolving practice.

My first session

I offer a free 15 minute initial consultation by video or telephone before we begin. This is a relaxed, no pressure conversation where you can ask questions, tell me a little about your context and get a feel for how I work. There is no obligation to book further sessions.

We do not need to commit to a set number of sessions in advance. We will check in regularly about how supervision is landing for you, and you are free to pause or end when that feels right.

In our first conversation, I simply invite you to share what you need from supervision right now, whether that is a place to think about risk, identity, burnout, difficult dynamics or your own development. From there, we can decide together whether working together feels like a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you.
