About me and my therapy practice

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. You might be feeling anxious, low, or worn down by holding it all together. You may be dealing with relationship strain, feeling disconnected from someone important to you, or noticing the same patterns repeating. Sometimes you know exactly why you’re reaching out. Sometimes it’s harder to name, just a sense of feeling stuck or not quite yourself. My aim is to offer a calm, respectful space where you can speak openly and feel met with care.

I’m a Registered Member of the BACP (MBACP). I work with adults aged 18 and over across the UK via online therapy.

My approach is psychodynamic and person centred. We’ll begin with your present experience and what feels most important to you. As therapy develops, we may pay attention to recurring themes and patterns, including how past experience can continue to shape feelings, relationships, and ways of coping. I place real value on the relationship we build in therapy. Trust, steadiness, and feeling understood are central, and they create the conditions where change becomes possible.

I offer both individual therapy and couples therapy. With couples, my focus is on helping you understand the cycle you get pulled into, communicate with more clarity, and reconnect with what matters to you both.

Practice description

I offer private therapy online via Zoom. Online therapy can make support easier to access and can still feel deeply connected, steady, and supportive.

Sessions are 60 minutes and take place in a consistent weekly time where possible.

Fees: £70 individual sessions; £90 couples sessions. A small number of concessionary slots are available.

Important to know: I do not provide crisis support or life coaching, and I do not offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

My first session

Before we start, I offer a free 20-minute introductory call. It’s a chance to tell me a little about what’s bringing you to therapy, ask any questions, and get a sense of whether working together feels right.

If we decide to go ahead, the first full session will be an assessment. We’ll talk through what’s been happening, what you’re hoping for, and what you’d like to feel different. You don’t need to have everything clearly explained at the start. We can begin where you are and make sense of it together over time.
