About me and my therapy practice
Welcome, my name is Jane. One of the most important things I am passionate about is for you to feel seen, heard and valued.
I show up with warmth, honesty, and a genuine respect Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, or a sense of disconnection from yourself, I offer a space where you can breathe, reflect, and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside or forgotten.
As a trauma-informed practitioner, I understand how important it is to feel grounded and in control of your own journey. My role is to offer steadiness, curiosity, and compassion as you explore whatever you’re carrying. We can go at a pace that feels right for you.
I offer Christian counselling, this can be a space to explore faith-related experiences — including doubts, confusion, hurt, or times when faith has felt complicated or painful. Some people have experienced spiritual pressure or difficulty within faith communities, and it can help to speak with someone who understands that world. As always, we will work in a way that is led by you.
I feel the foundation of therapy is the relationship we build. What matters most is that you feel at ease, understood, and met with genuine care. When you feel listened to, something inside begins to soften, and it becomes easier to explore your thoughts and emotions.
Practice description
I am a qualified Counsellor and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I offer online therapy, giving you the freedom to access support from a space that feels familiar to you.
My core modality is person-centered with a wealth of experience. Working interactively, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet individual needs, believing you have the answers within yourself, you may just need some support to navigate this.
My way of working is rooted in connection. I believe counselling is most effective when you feel at ease, understood, and truly heard. I draw on a blend of therapeutic approaches, using creativity and holistic awareness to support you in the way that suits you best. We can also explore how your mind and body respond to difficult moments, as this insight often helps people feel steadier, more informed, and more in control of their healing.
My first session
I offer a free 15 minute telephone call so that you can discuss what your needs are and we can then explore if that is something I can help with. This free discussion will not only allow you to see if you think I am someone you can work with, but also to ask any questions you may have.
If after this free session and after you have had time to think about it, and you feel you would like to work with me, we can then arrange your first session.
I work with what best suits you; we may work weekly, fortnightly, or have a one-off session. Depending on your need. I work short-term and long-term.
I offer a limited number of concessionary rates for students, low-income families and key workers (proof of documents on request).
