About me and my therapy practice

I offer a non-judgmental, empathic safe space for exploring your experiences, no matter how difficult they may be for you. You can tell me anything. My therapeutic approach is tailored to address your specific concerns, providing personalised guidance and coping mechanisms. Together, we can embark on a journey toward personal healing, discovering the old or new self, cultivating resilience, gaining a deeper understanding of oneself, and moving towards a more fulfilling life.

Practice description

I foster qualities such as presence, empathy, and authenticity . Through active listening and empathetic guidance, I empower clients to unearth their own insights and solutions, avoiding the imposition of preconceived answers, addressing concerns including anxiety, identity crises, nurturing self-awareness and resilience to any difficult situation.

My work is tailored to what works for you and what feels right. We'll establish therapeutic goals and work towards them. Lets make a step if we can't jump! I am going to believe in you until you can see that you believe in yourself and no longer need me and our sessions together. I do offer telephone or online sessions as well as meeting face-to-face.

My first session

I appreciate that exploring counselling, especially for the first time, can be a significant step, particularly if you are unsure of what to expect.

I always introduce myself and provide a brief overview of my background and approach. This includes information about confidentiality and my ethical framework.

Regardless of what brings you to counselling—whether it's anxiety, self-esteem issues, spending too much time pleasing others at the expense of your own needs, feeling stuck in relationships or at work, or struggling to manage difficult emotions or express your authentic self—talking in counselling and psychotherapy can be beneficial.

Therefore, it would be helpful to establish early on what you find challenging. Sometimes, it may take time to identify what you hope to achieve through counselling or what is most troubling for you. These aspects can also be explored in later sessions.
