About me and my therapy practice
I'm an experienced and highly qualified counselling psychotherapist working with individuals, couples and families to work through issues and gain better understanding and outcomes.
I see clients for a wide variety of issues including anxiety, phobias, PTSD, living with autism and ADHD, identity and sexuality, disordered eating and bereavement.
My professional research interests include companion animal bereavement and trans-generational collective trauma.
My practice is fully plant-based; I offer clients a range of hot and cold drinks including herbal teas, decaffeinated coffee and plant milks.
Practice description
My Burslem practice is based in a historic building in the heart of the Potteries, where I see clients in a bright and comfortable therapy room.
Sessions last 50 minutes for individuals, and 90 minutes for couples and families.
There is metered parking immediately outside the building (£1.10 per hour) and free parking one minute's walk away, on Moorland Road outside Burslem Park. My practice is just four minutes' walk from major bus routes, including Crewe to Hanley and Newcastle-under-Lyme to Ball Green and Endon, and on the Tunstall / Burslem Greenway cycling track; safe cycle storage is available inside the building.

About me and my therapy practice
I'm a highly experienced counselling psychotherapist, having qualified at the University of Manchester and worked across a number of both NHS and private settings.
I work with adult individuals either short-term or longer term, on a wide range of issues including anxiety, bereavement, anger management, end-of-life, PTSD, living with autism and ADHD, identity and sexuality, eating disorders and self-esteem.
Couples therapy can be for relationship maintenance, couples in crisis or couples working towards an amicable separation or divorce.
My work with families at my practice is for groups of up to four people; larger family groups can be accommodated on request. Family therapy sessions aim to facilitate discussion in a safe space and move towards conflict resolution and healing.
I have professional research interests in companion animal bereavement and trans-generational trauma.
