About me and my therapy practice
Whether you are looking for support with a specific challenge or are aiming to better understand your thoughts and feelings, as an integrative counsellor I tailor my support to your needs and preferences.
You may want help with a specific issue, be experiencing difficult feelings or looking for a space to focus on you and reflect. I provide a space where you can talk at your own pace, confidentially. I’ll help you to explore your thoughts, feelings and life experiences, so that you can understand yourself and your experiences better and develop helpful strategies and solutions that work for you.
There may be a number of reasons you feel the way you do. Perhaps you’ve had some challenging experiences in your early years, in your relationships or your work, or you may have experienced a bereavement or loss.
As an Integrative Counsellor, Person-Centred counselling forms the foundation of my approach and I tailor my support to you by using tools and learnings from other approaches. Clients have said that they’ve found me to be warm, calm, patient and supportive.
I have experience working with a range of concerns, including:
· Difficult emotions such as worry, low mood and anger.
· Low self-esteem, self-criticism and feeling not good enough. Worrying about what other people think and comparing yourself to others.
· Overwhelm and stress. Juggling multiple demands, trying to do everything to high standards, and putting other people and commitments before your own needs.

I offer one-to-one counselling sessions to adults in-person in central Newbury, or alternatively online or by phone.
