Therapist - Brighton

Brighton BN2
07881916354
Sessions from £60.00

Features

  • Flexible hours available

Availability

I work online and in person in several locations in Brighton & Hove. All are near public transport links and have parking nearby.

A 50 minute session for an individual is £60.

About me and my therapy practice

Has life thrown you a curveball recently and are you struggling to find a way forward? Perhaps you’re experiencing anxiety or depression as a result of a significant life event like bereavement, redundancy or relationship breakdown. Or maybe your mental health is suffering because of low self-esteem, work stress, family issues, friendship problems or chronic illness.

These events can be overwhelming and leave you feeling stuck. But there is hope.

I’m a fully qualified LGBTQ+ affirmative therapist and I’ve been able to help support clients with these kind of problems and work with them to find a way forward.

Let’s work together to turn things around - one step at a time. You won’t be judged, just heard, understood and supported.

There’s no pressure - we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you.

Not sure yet?

I would like to offer you a free 15-minute telephone consultation where you can ask questions and look at how we might approach therapy together. It is entirely normal to feel nervous at this stage but hopefully this initial conversation will help ease any concerns.

If you are happy to proceed then meeting weekly, in person or online, for 50-minute sessions would be the ideal way to work together. And I can’t emphasise enough - we will take this slowly and in a supportive environment.

Practice description

I began my training at Birkbeck, University of London, before completing a CPCAB Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I am a registered member of the BACP and have worked with clients within the NHS Talking Therapy Service.

Before qualifying as a therapist I had a 30 year career in challenging, highly pressured work environments. If you are going through something similar, I can truly empathise.

I have experience, through my training, of working with people challenged by the areas listed above.

As previously mentioned, our first session will be complimentary: this will take the form of a free 15 minute phone call where you can ask questions and look at how we might approach therapy together.
