About me and my therapy practice
Are you and your partner going through a difficult patch, feeling disconnected, or struggling to communicate?
Do you feel stuck in the same exhausting arguments, or worried that you are drifting apart?
Relationships are central to our well-being, but they can also be complex and challenging.
I am a qualified counsellor working in private practice, and I am currently completing a specialist relationship counselling qualification with Relate, relationship charity.
To support couples while I finalize this advanced training, I am offering a limited number of discounted couple counselling sessions.
I have extensive experience working in NHS Mental Health services as a registered Mental Health Nurse.
My practice is sharply tuned to the highest clinical standards and firmly grounded in safe, compassionate, and evidence-based approaches.
I understand how anxiety, stress, and modern life can put immense pressure on a partnerships.
Whether you choose to attend as an individual, or together as a couple, I offer a calm, safe, and non-judgmental space.
Together, we are grounded in safe, compassionate, and evidence-based approaches.
Together, we will look beneath the surface of your conflicts, safely explore the patterns you are caught up in, and build practical tools to help you move forward.
I offer an initial, no obligation free online or telephone introductory call where you can find out how I work, and this also gives me the opportunity to find out a little about your current situation and if this service is suitable for you at this time .

Practice description
I offer in person individual and couple appointments in the heart of Darras Hall with car parking available.
I also offer sessions online or by telephone.
Appointments are 60 minutes.
I offer long and short term counselling.
My first session
For Couple counselling my assessment process offers a trusted two stage model : We begin with a joint session together, followed by a shorter individual session for each partner.
Clients often find these solo sessions incredibly reassuring. They offer a private space where you can share your personal history, relationship goals in a safe space.
This also helps me understand the unique life experiences shaping how you each show up in the relationship.
By having this time to understand you both as individuals, we can develop together a personalized plan for your joint therapy.
For individual clients the initial assessment appointment is a supportive space where we can together explore what is brining you to therapy, look at your history and discuss your goals.
This confidential, non- judgmental space provides the safe setting for us to focus on the areas you want to work on, where we can build your unique plan together.
