About me and my therapy practice
You may have spent years feeling slightly out of step with the world - thinking deeply, feeling intensely, masking, overthinking, pushing yourself hard or wondering why things seem to take more out of you than they do other people.
I work with neurodivergent and creative adults and young people aged 16+, including autistic and ADHD clients. You may be struggling with burnout, anxiety, perfectionism, low self-esteem, identity, relationships or a sense of not quite fitting.
I’m neurodivergent myself and understand the value of having a space where you don’t need to mask, perform or explain yourself perfectly.
My approach is integrative and informed by nervous-system awareness. I shape therapy around how you think, feel and process, working at a pace that respects your capacity.
I’m an Integrative, BACP registered psychotherapist and counsellor. I also hold a CPCAB Level 3 Life Coaching Skills qualification. My wider experience includes over 7 years mentoring young people, supporting their creativity, confidence and personal development.
Therapy isn’t about fixing you. It’s about understanding yourself more deeply, reconnecting with your needs, developing greater self-acceptance, and finding ways of living that feel more manageable and more like you.
You don’t need a formal diagnosis to work with me. Whether you are diagnosed, self-identifying, questioning whether you may be neurodivergent or simply resonate with this way of experiencing the world, you are welcome here.
Practice description
I offer sessions in person or online. Online sessions are offered via Zoom and in person sessions are offered from a welcoming therapy space in Ramsgate. Each session is 50 minutes.
I integrate person-centred counselling with nervous-system awareness, reflective dialogue and practical exploration where helpful.
We may explore:
• anxiety, overwhelm and burnout
• patterns in relationships
• boundaries and self-worth
• identity, creativity and life transitions
I work at a pace that respects your capacity. Therapy can be open-ended or short-term, depending on your needs.
I offer a free initial consultation so we can talk about what you’re looking for and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.
We will explore what has brought you to therapy at this time, what you would like support with and any relevant background information. You are welcome to share at your own pace - there is no pressure to “tell your whole story” straight away.
I will ask some assessment questions to understand your current situation, including your wellbeing, support network and any risks, so that I can ensure therapy is safe and appropriate for you.
There will also be space for you to ask questions about how I work.
If it feels right to continue, we can agree on a regular day and time for sessions.
