About me and my therapy practice
As a dedicated therapist based in Leamington Spa, I offer a confidential space where you can slow down and make sense of what is happening in your life. It is a place to feel heard, supported and understood as you find your own way forward. My approach is gentle and collaborative, rooted in the belief that real change comes from understanding yourself more deeply rather than being told what to do. I work with individuals and couples, providing support through challenges in relationships, anxiety and trauma, as well as times of uncertainty or transition. I have a particular interest in working with women in midlife who may be questioning their identity, purpose or direction—exploring what feels authentic and meaningful now.
Individual Therapy
When I work with individuals, my focus is on you—your needs, your pace and your inner wisdom. I believe that each person holds the capacity for their own healing and clarity. My role as your therapist is to offer the right conditions for this to unfold, providing a dedicated counselling service tailored to your personal needs.
Couples Therapy
Relationships can face significant challenges. My specialised couples therapy sessions provide a structured and supportive environment for both partners to explore their difficulties. The goal of effective couples therapy is to improve communication, resolve conflicts and rebuild intimacy. Whether you are facing a crisis or seeking to strengthen your connection, my counselling service is designed to help you navigate your relationship dynamics constructively.
Practice description
My approach is rooted in empathy, professionalism and the belief that effective therapy fosters healing and personal growth.
I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can bring whatever feels heavy, confusing, or uncertain in your life. My way of working is person-centred, which simply means that I see you as the expert on your own experience. My role isn’t to give advice or tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you — to really listen, understand and help you connect with the parts of yourself that already know what you need.
I’m also interested in how our bodies carry and express what we’ve been through. Sometimes our minds are saying one thing, but our bodies tell a different story. Bringing gentle awareness to sensations, breath, and posture — what’s often called somatic work — can help us understand emotions and patterns that words can’t always reach.
Another influence in my work is Internal Family Systems (IFS). It’s based on the idea that we all have different “parts” inside us — like the anxious part, the part that wants to please others, or the part that just wants to hide. When we get to know these parts with curiosity and care, we often discover they’ve been trying to protect us, even if their ways don’t always serve us anymore. Learning to listen to them can bring a surprising sense of relief and wholeness.
My first session
It is important you feel comfortable working with me and I encourage you to trust your instinct on first meeting me. To help with this process, you can book an initial 30 minute session before you commit to working with me longer term (charged at £35 for individuals and £45 for couples).
If you choose to work with me, there is a contract to sign and for couples, there is a short questionnaire to complete after the initial session.
