About me and my therapy practice
I offer integrative counselling grounded in the belief that we are always in the process of becoming. Whether we are aware of it or not, life continually shapes us through our experiences, relationships, and internal narratives. Therapy provides a space to slow this process down, bringing awareness, intention, and compassion to areas where we may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from ourselves.
My approach is collaborative and relational. I work alongside you to understand your unique story, recognising that there is no single “right” way to heal or grow. Drawing from person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioural perspectives, I adapt our work to suit your individual needs, personality, and pace.
I aim to create a calm, non-judgemental environment where you can explore thoughts and feelings safely. Together we may look at patterns that repeat in your life, explore emotional responses, and develop greater self-understanding and self-compassion. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted.
Practice description
In The Becoming is a private counselling practice offering a reflective and supportive space for adults who may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, life transitions, relationship difficulties, or a sense of feeling lost or stuck.
Clients often come to therapy wanting to understand themselves more deeply, improve emotional wellbeing, or navigate challenging periods of change. I work integratively, tailoring sessions to each individual rather than applying a single model or technique. This allows therapy to evolve naturally as your needs develop.
Sessions move at your pace and focus on what feels most important to you. Some clients benefit from exploring past experiences and relational patterns, while others focus more on present challenges and practical coping strategies. Often, therapy includes both.
My intention is to offer a steady, compassionate therapeutic relationship where you can speak openly without pressure or expectation. Over time, this process can support greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a stronger sense of direction.
I offer both in-person and online sessions.
