You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Counselling can offer a supportive space to talk things through and gain a deeper understanding of yourself.

I currently have a small number of reduced-fee spaces available for online counselling.

My usual fee is £60 per session and I currently offer a reduced rate of £40 per session for online counselling for the first 8 sessions.

Online sessions take place via secure video link, allowing us to work together face-to-face, while offering flexibility and the convenience of joining from your own space. I am happy to provide support with any technical setup if needed.

I offer sessions Monday to Saturday, with flexible daytime and evening availability.

I work with Young People (13+) and Adults of all ages.

About me and my therapy practice

Originally from Cyprus, I have lived in the UK since the age of 18. My personal and professional experiences have given me a deep appreciation of how culture, life transitions and personal circumstances can shape our lives and identities. I have been fortunate to work in both British and multicultural environments, which is something I particularly value and enjoy.

I am a BACP registered counsellor specialising in Person-Centred Counselling (Humanistic approach).

I am qualified and experienced in supporting Young people (13–18 years) as well as Adults of all ages, supporting a range of issues including:

• anxiety and stress

• relationship difficulties

• low self-confidence or self-esteem

• life transitions

• feeling stuck or overwhelmed

We can also explore the connection between emotional wellbeing and physical health. Our thoughts, feelings and life experiences can affect the body in many ways and changes in our physical health can also influence how we feel emotionally.

For example, stress, anxiety, life transitions or hormonal changes, can sometimes show up in the body as well as in our emotional experience. Understanding this connection can often help us make greater sense of what we are going through and support a deeper understanding of ourselves.

In addition to my private practice, I also work as a counsellor in a secondary school, a GP practice and within the non-profit sector. These roles allow me to support people from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of life experiences.

I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and I am committed to safe, ethical and effective practice through regular clinical supervision and ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Starting therapy can feel like a big step and it is important to find a counsellor you feel comfortable with. You are welcome to get in touch for an informal chat to see whether working together feels right for you.

Practice description

As a Person-Centred counsellor, my role is to provide a safe and non-judgemental space where you can explore what you are going through and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.

Whether you are facing a specific difficulty or simply feeling overwhelmed, counselling can offer a supportive space to talk things through, gain clarity and find a way forward.

Sessions last 50 minutes and we will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Some clients come to counselling with a specific issue they would like to work through, while others may simply feel that something in their life is not quite right. Both are welcome.

I offer a range of ways to work together, depending on what feels most comfortable and accessible for you:

Face-to-face sessions in a private and confidential setting.

Online sessions via video, allowing us to work together face-to-face while offering flexibility and the convenience of joining from your own space. I am happy to provide support with any technical setup if needed.

Walk and talk therapy in local parks, offering a relaxed and informal way to talk while walking in nature. Some people find that being outdoors can help conversations flow more naturally.

I believe that each person has the capacity for growth and change when they feel truly heard, understood and accepted. I work collaboratively with clients, offering empathy, respect and authenticity throughout the counselling process.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute initial online or telephone consultation. This provides an opportunity for you to ask any questions and share a little about what brings you to counselling.

There is no obligation to continue. This short session is a gentle introduction and a chance for us to see whether working together feels comfortable and supportive.

If you decide to continue, your first full counselling session will last 60 minutes, allowing more time for us to settle in and begin exploring what you would like to focus on.

During this session we may talk about what has brought you to counselling, any hopes or goals you may have and how we might work together.

After the first session, we can agree together how often you would like to meet. Some people prefer weekly sessions, while others choose fortnightly, monthly, or less frequent sessions, depending on what suits their needs and circumstances.
