About me and my therapy practice
Therapy is one of many tools that can support healing, growth, and reconnection. I don't believe therapists have all the answers, but I do believe in creating a space where you can explore your experiences with care, curiosity, and compassion.
If you've ever felt misunderstood, disconnected from yourself, or as though you've had to shrink parts of who you are to be accepted, therapy can offer an opportunity to be met differently. I aim to create a space where all parts of you are welcome, and where your experiences, relationships, culture, identity, and history can be explored safely and without judgement.
As an integrative therapist with a strong interest in trauma-informed and somatic approaches, I understand that not everything can be expressed through words alone. Together, we may explore thoughts, emotions, body sensations, breath, and patterns of relating that can help deepen understanding and support change.
I have a particular interest in working with issues around identity, belonging, neurodivergence, burnout, trauma, and self-connection. My practice is informed by an awareness of culture, power, and the wider systems that shape our lives, while always remaining focused on your unique experience.
Above all, I see therapy as a collaborative process. How we work together will depend on what feels most supportive for you in the present moment.
Practice description
Like most therapist's, I offer a warm, honest space to explore whatever's bringing you to therapy, whether that's a specific issue or a general sense that something isn't right. I tend to work relationally, paying attention to what comes up between us as well as what you bring from outside the room, and I'll be transparent about my thinking and open to your feedback on how the work is going.
I'm currently returning to practice after a break, so I have some flexibility with availability and am taking on a small number of new clients. I’m happy to answer any questions about this if it's helpful for you to know.
Sessions are usually weekly to start, so we can build up a relationship before anything else. I welcome questions at any point about how or why I'm working the way I am, there's no need to have things figured out before you arrive.
Though I do speak cantonese, I only deliver sessions in English.
