About me and my therapy practice
Anxiety, Emotional Overwhelm & Nervous System Healing | Trauma-Informed Integrative Therapy
Congratulations on taking the brave, first step in your healing journey. Whatever has brought you here, whether you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted, disconnected, stuck or simply aware that something doesn't feel quite right, you are welcome here.
My approach is holistic, compassionate and nervous system-informed. I believe that healing is not simply about talking through problems; it is about understanding how our experiences live within our minds, bodies and nervous systems.
Many of the people I work with have spent years pushing through, holding everything together for everyone else, overthinking, over-functioning, people-pleasing or feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, burnout, freeze or shutdown. Often they know something needs to change, but they don't know where to begin.
Before exploring deeper emotions, patterns or past experiences, we focus on helping you understand your nervous system, reconnect with your body and develop tools that help you feel more grounded, present and supported in everyday life.
I work collaboratively with you, recognising that you are the expert on your own experience. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion and understanding as you reconnect with yourself.
You remain at the centre of every session.
Your pace.
Your needs.
Your experiences.
Your choices.
Your healing journey.
My aim is to help you develop a greater understanding of yourself, build nervous system flexibility and create a stronger sense of safety, connection and trust within your own body.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens through compassionate awareness, meaningful connection and the gradual experience of feeling safe enough to be yourself.

About me and my therapy practice
Anxiety, Emotional Overwhelm & Nervous System Healing | Trauma-Informed Integrative Therapy
Do you often feel emotionally exhausted from always being the strong one?
Maybe you’ve spent years holding everything together, putting other people’s needs first, overthinking everything, or feeling constantly overwhelmed and unable to properly switch off.
You may have grown up learning to take care of others emotionally, becoming highly responsible, independent, and attuned to everyone around you. On the outside you might appear capable and coping, while internally feeling anxious, burnt out, disconnected from yourself, or stuck in survival mode.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, people pleasing, low self-worth, burnout, and relationship patterns that leave them feeling drained and unseen.
My Approach:
My approach is warm, grounded, and relational. Alongside talking therapy, I work in a nervous-system-informed way, helping clients understand how stress, past experiences, and emotional patterns can impact how they feel in everyday life.
Therapy with me is not about judgement or “fixing” you. It’s about creating a space where you can slow down, feel emotionally safe, and begin reconnecting with yourself underneath the pressure of constantly coping.
I offer online counselling sessions on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
My work integrates talking therapy with nervous system and body-based approaches, recognising that emotional experiences are often held not only in the mind, but within the body and nervous system too.
Sessions may include:
- Nervous system regulation support
- Breathwork
- Somatic awareness
- EFT tapping
- Emotional processing
- Mindfulness and grounding
- Inner child exploration
- Understanding emotional patterns and protective responses
- The work is always paced carefully and collaboratively.
Practice description
What working together feels like:
Sessions are gentle and collaborative. There is no pressure to go faster than feels safe.
Many clients describe beginning to feel:
- more grounded and present
- more aware of emotional patterns
- less overwhelmed by feelings
- more able to pause rather than react
- more connected to themselves over time
What I work with:
- Anxiety and chronic stress
- Feeling emotionally overwhelmed
- Burnout and emotional fatigue
- Trauma and nervous system dysregulation
- Low self-esteem
- Relationship patterns
- Feeling disconnected from yourself
- Chronic tension held in the body
- Difficulty relaxing or switching off
- Shame and self-criticism
- Life transitions and emotional uncertainty
This work isn't for you if you want a quick fix. It is deep, nurturing, and designed to create real, lasting transformation rather than temporary relief.
Working together:
If this resonates with you, you’re welcome to get in touch and we can explore whether working together feels like a good fit.
This is simply a space to see whether working together feels like a good fit for both of us and whether this style of work matches what you are needing right now.

I will ask a few questions about your history to help me understand a bit more of who you are as a person and what your aims for our sessions together might be.
This session allows you to get a sense of who I am as a counsellor and if I am the best counsellor for you. If I feel that you may benefit working with a counsellor with more specialist knowledge, I will do my best to find someone more suited to your needs.
Hopefully by the end of this session you will feel comfortable that we have worked in collaboration on a way of working together going forward.
All subsequent sessions will cost £65.00 and last for 50 minutes.
