I offer flexible session times to support your journey at a pace that feels right for you. Typical availability is:
Tuesday: Late afternoon
Thursday: Morning, afternoon, late afternoon
Friday: Morning, afternoon, late afternoon
While therapy sessions often work best on a weekly basis to maximise progress and integration, I understand that life and circumstances differ. I also have gaps for fortnightly sessions, allowing you to choose a rhythm that suits your needs.
I encourage you to work at the frequency and timing that feels right for you, knowing that my role is to provide a consistent, professional, and supportive presence throughout your journey.
About me and my therapy practice
Somewhere inside, you know you are ready to come home to yourself.
Not the version of you who has had to cope, hold it together, or keep going no matter what — but the version of you who feels safe, grounded, emotionally held, and deeply understood.
If you are here, you may be tired of surviving.
You may be ready for healing that feels gentle, honest, and real.
You may be longing for a space where you don’t have to be “the strong one” anymore.
I offer a soft, deeply present therapeutic space where every part of you is welcome — the parts you understand, the parts you don’t, and the parts you may have hidden away for a long time.
My foundation is person-centred counselling, meaning you lead and I walk beside you. You will never be pushed, rushed, or asked to be anything other than who you are in that moment.
Alongside talking therapy, I hold awareness of your emotional world, nervous system, and deeper internal experience. Where it feels supportive and with your full consent, we may gently weave in optional integrative practices such as grounding, breathwork, EFT, meditation, or Reiki relaxation.
There is no pressure to use these. This is your healing space.
Whatever your reason for counselling, I would love to work with you to figure out who you are, what makes you feel fulfilled to live your authentic life. You are welcome here, this is your space to be exactly as you are.
Practice description
You are worthy. You are enough. You matter and you deserve to feel heard. It is important to have a counsellor who can see that in you, (even if you can’t see it yourself).
What It May Feel Like To Work With Me
Many clients tell me they feel:
- Able to breathe for the first time in a long time
- Less alone in what they are carrying
- Emotionally safe and not judged
- Gently supported rather than pushed or told how to 'fix'
- Seen beneath the surface level of “coping”
- More calmer and connected to themselves over time
- More able to understand why they feel the way they do
- Able to be more compassionate and kind with themselves
- Increase in their own capability when challenges arise
- Deeper awareness, able to recognise patterns within the moment and make informed choices.
Who I Work Best With
You may feel drawn to my work if you:
- Feel emotionally overwhelmed or anxious
- Feel stuck in patterns you can’t shift
- Feel disconnected from yourself
- Are used to being the strong one for others
- Feel ready for deeper emotional healing
- Are open to gentle, holistic, or whole-person healing approaches
- Want therapy that feels warm, human, and grounded
- Struggling with low confidence and self worth
- Finding it hard to regulate your nervous system
My commitment to you is to help you feel comfortable to be honest with yourself and me. I am here to listen to your story, be present and hold you in your healing journey.
I will support you to recognise your problems, reconnect with parts of yourself, regulate your emotions, realise your choices of behaviours and rebalance yourself.
I truly believe that real change and growth happen through the bond and connection I create with my clients. I'll be with you and stand by your side during those difficult moments.
I'm dedicated to helping you navigate your vulnerabilities with compassion. I will provide a safe haven where you can be yourself without judgement or telling you what to do.
My aim is to empower you to make positive changes to become the best possible version of yourself.
My first session
What To Expect From Reaching Out
Reaching out can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to feel unsure or nervous.
You don’t need the right words, the full story, or a clear plan. You just need to arrive as you are.
If something here feels like it speaks to you, you are very welcome to get in touch to explore whether working together feels right.
Step 1: Book a discovery call or reach out
I will offer a free 20 minute discovery session to see whether you feel like my way of counselling and to see if its suited to your needs. This time aIso allows me to answer any questions you may have.
There is no obligation to commit to sessions there and then! In fact I encourage you to shop around us counsellors to find the best fit for you and your needs.
Step 2: Book your initial assessment session
If you decide you would like to proceed after your discovery session, I will email you a copy of our working agreement going forwards. This will outline how we will work together, confidentiality, as well as information and policies.
During our assessment session, we will discuss the working agreement, explore your reasons for seeking therapy, your aims and how we can work together for what best suits you. I will ask a few questions about your history to help me understand a bit more of who you are as a person and what your aims for our sessions together might be.
This session allows you to get a sense of who I am as a counsellor and if I am the best counsellor for you. If I feel that you may benefit working with a counsellor with more specialist knowledge, I will do my best to find someone more suited to your needs.
Hopefully by the end of this session you will feel comfortable that we have worked in collaboration on a way of working together going forward.
All subsequent sessions will cost £55 and last for 50 minutes.
