About me and my therapy practice
When life feels stuck, confusing, or out of balance, it can be hard to make sense of what’s happening. You might be coping day to day, but noticing that familiar patterns keep repeating in ways that feel frustrating, confusing, or hard to shift. This could show up in relationships, in how you feel about yourself, or in the way you respond to challenges.
Therapy offers a warm, supportive and thoughtful space to explore what’s shaping your current experience and what may be getting in the way of change. Through developing greater clarity and self-understanding, therapy can help you respond differently to both yourself and to the situations you face, so that you feel less stuck and more able to move forward with greater confidence and choice.
I believe that personal challenges, while sometimes painful, are opportunities for meaningful change and growth.
Practice description
What to expect
Therapy is collaborative and responsive space for reflection, processing, and the development of new ways of responding. It offers support in moments that feel difficult, overwhelming, or isolating, and provides strategies to help you cope and feel steadier, knowing you are not facing things alone. It is a space to explore the causes of struggles, the experiences and patterns that have shaped your life, and where these may be influencing your life today.
Alongside developing understanding, new possibilities will emerge in how you relate to yourself and others, and help you gradually loosen what feels stuck. This leads to greater clarity, more emotional resilience, and a stronger sense of choice in how you move forward.
My first session
Next Steps
After you make contact we can find time for an initial 50-minute discussion.
This session is offered free of charge and provides an opportunity to talk about what has brought you to therapy, what you are hoping for, and how therapy might be able to support you. It also gives you space to ask any questions and to get a sense of whether working together feels right. There is no obligation to continue beyond this session.
Weekly Sessions
If you decide to continue, sessions take place weekly on the same day and time, and last 50 minutes. Therapy is open-ended, with the pace and length of the work shaped collaboratively, and reviewed as we go.
