About me and my therapy practice

Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally stuck can make life feel heavy and confusing. You may be struggling with low mood, questioning relationships, or carrying a sense that something isn’t quite right — even if you can’t fully name it. Therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect, and begin to make sense of what’s happening for you.

I’m a warm, approachable, and experienced therapist working with individuals and couples. I offer a confidential, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement. Whether you’re seeking therapy on your own or together as a couple, you’re welcome exactly as you are.

My Approach

I work pluralistically, which means our work is shaped around you — as an individual or as a couple. I draw from person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioural approaches, adapting sessions to suit your needs, goals, and pace. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and we’ll work in a way that feels right for you.

Clients often describe me as compassionate, thoughtful, and gently challenging when helpful. I aim to create a space that feels safe, grounded, and collaborative.

Areas I Support

• Anxiety, stress, and burnout

• Depression and low self-esteem

• Relationship difficulties and couples therapy

• Trauma and childhood experiences

• Fertility, infertility, IVF, miscarriage, and donor conception

• Feeling “not good enough” or stuck in unhelpful patterns

• Identity, work-life balance, and life transitions

Fertility & Infertility Support

I have a particular interest in supporting individuals and couples through fertility challenges, including IVF, ART, and pregnancy loss. These experiences can be deeply isolating and emotionally complex. I offer a compassionate space to explore feelings, process loss, and navigate uncertainty together or individually.

Practice description

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist working with individuals and couples. I hold a First Class Honours BSc in Counselling from the University of East London and a Diploma of Higher Education in Midwifery from St George’s, University of London, where I practised as a midwife in the NHS. I later worked in a senior executive role in the corporate sector. These experiences inform my work with life transitions, emotional pressure, stress, and identity change.

I offer a confidential, non-judgemental space to explore difficulties such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, and burnout. Alongside my private practice, I volunteer with Mind, specialising in bereavement, loss, and grief counselling.

I work using a pluralistic approach, tailoring therapy to each client rather than using a single model. My work draws on person-centred counselling, psychodynamic therapy, Existential and CBT-informed approaches, supporting insight, emotional understanding, and practical coping strategies. Sessions are collaborative and paced to suit you.

I have a particular interest in fertility and infertility counselling, including IVF, miscarriage, pregnancy loss, and donor conception, supporting both individuals and couples through the emotional impact of these experiences. I also work with trauma, childhood experiences, work-related stress, and the pressure to keep functioning in a fast-paced world.

My aim is to help you develop greater self-awareness, process difficult experiences, and move forward with increased clarity, confidence, and emotional resilience.

Sessions are available in person and online.

My first session

First Session:

To start your journey, please reach out to me via email or phone to share a little about your current situation and what you're seeking from therapy. This initial conversation is an important step in determining whether my therapeutic approach aligns with your needs.

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to see if I’m the right therapist for you. We’ll talk about what’s brought you to therapy, what you’d like to get from the process, and how I might support you. There’s no pressure to share everything at once — we go at your pace.

I’ll also explain how I work, answer any questions you may have, and talk through practicalities such as confidentiality, session times, and fees. You’re welcome to ask me anything — this is your space, and feeling comfortable and safe is the most important foundation for our work together.

By the end of the session, we can decide together if you’d like to continue, and what that might look like.

My standard fee is £70 per session face to face and £60 online.
