About me and my therapy practice
I am a person-centred counsellor based in Norwich, working with major life changes and transitions, as well as grief, bereavement and end-of-life. I offer in-person sessions at St. George's Works, Colegate, plus online and telephone appointments across Norfolk and the UK.
I support adults feeling overwhelmed, stuck or isolated by change or loss to find their way forward and begin rebuilding. People appreciate my steady, considered presence. If that sounds like what you're looking for, I might be the right counsellor for you.
You're not alone if you're experiencing:
- Major life transitions (career change, retirement, relocation, children leaving home, identity shifts)
- Rebuilding a new life after separation, loss, or relationship ending
- Bereavement of any kind (recent or in the past)
- Anticipatory grief while caring for someone who is dying
- Living with serious illness or confronting mortality
- Feeling stuck, numb, irritable, or disconnected after loss
- Wanting to process difficult experiences before moving forward
How person-centred counselling works
The person-centred approach is backed by decades of research. I won't act as an expert directing you — instead, we work together at your pace so you can discover what your experiences mean to you and what comes next.
You might find it helps you:
- Feel heard and accepted, so you can clarify what you're experiencing
- Reconnect with who you are and what matters to you
- Begin trusting yourself again
A little about my background
Alongside my person-centred counselling qualification, I have training as an end-of-life doula. I have supported people through the Anne Robson Trust and understand both the emotional impact of grief and the practicalities surrounding end-of-life — whether yours or someone close to you.
Registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Member of End of Life Doula UK. Fully insured. Undergo regular continuing professional development (CPD).
