About me and my therapy practice

I understand that beginning therapy may feel daunting, but I offer a calm space with empathy, open-mindedness, and understanding.

Life is full of challenges and transitions that can be difficult to navigate. I see my role as giving you the tools and support to find the answers or reach your goals. I consider it a privilege to support my clients and a warm, non-judgemental approach is central to my work.

I work with a range of issues, but specialise in trauma work. I have supported clients who have experienced domestic and sexual abuse for nearly 20 years, advocating for both adults and children before qualifying as a counsellor. As a therapist, I can support those who may be experiencing trauma symptoms or who may want to process abuse they have experienced.

I will work at your pace to guide you through your journey. I can offer a variety of creative techniques if it may feel difficult to articulate feelings. I'm interested in you, your experiences, and your goals.

I have a relaxed, informal, and friendly approach and will work with what feels right for you. I work integratively, meaning that I will adapt my framework and methods based on your needs.

I work from a comfortable, professional therapy room.
