I offer 1:1 therapy for adults (18+) online.

If you email me, please check your spam/junk folder for a reply. Alternatively, please send me a text message.

About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I’m Iga, an Integrative Therapist. I work with adults (18+) who are feeling burnt out, overwhelmed or stuck in patterns that no longer feel helpful.

I specialise in supporting adults experiencing burnout, anxiety and difficulties in their relationships. I’m particularly interested in working with people who have spent much of their lives being capable, responsible and there for others, but who are beginning to feel the cost of always pushing through.

I offer a neuro-affirmative approach, recognising and respecting the different ways people experience and navigate the world. I welcome neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD, autism or AuDHD, and understand that experiences such as masking, adapting to expectations and navigating environments that don’t always accommodate your needs can contribute to exhaustion and burnout.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in a corporate environment and running my own business. I understand how easy it can be to keep going, meet expectations and put your own needs aside, even when something inside you is telling you that things need to change.

I know that burnout isn’t always as straightforward as having too much work or needing a holiday. Sometimes, it reflects a much longer story about how we have learned to live, cope and relate to ourselves and others.

I offer online sessions across the UK. My practice is welcoming and inclusive, and I work with adults from different backgrounds and walks of life.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself or unsure how to move forward, please feel free to reach out. I offer a free 15-min introductory call via phone or Zoom.

Practice description

My approach to therapy is relational, integrative and trauma-informed. I believe that the relationship we build together is an important part of the therapeutic process. Having a space where you can feel heard, understood and accepted can help you begin to explore experiences and feelings that may have been difficult to make sense of on your own.

I draw on attachment theory, psychodynamic thinking and IFS to understand how our early experiences and relationships can shape the way we see ourselves, relate to others and navigate the world. I’m particularly interested in the patterns we develop to cope with difficult experiences, such as people-pleasing, perfectionism, self-criticism or feeling responsible for everyone around us.

These patterns may have helped us cope at some point in our lives, but they can become exhausting over time. This is especially true when we find ourselves repeating them in our relationships, at work or in the way we treat ourselves.

In our sessions, we can explore what might be happening beneath the surface, while also paying attention to what you’re experiencing in the here and now. We can look at practical ways to support you in everyday life, including understanding your needs, recognising your limits and finding ways to respond differently to situations that feel overwhelming.

I see therapy as a collaborative process. I’ll bring curiosity, compassion and my professional experience, while you bring your own knowledge of yourself and your life. There is no expectation to have everything figured out. We can take our time, work at a pace that feels right for you and explore what meaningful change might look like.

I am bilingual in English and Polish.

If you would like to find out more about me and how I work, please visit my website: www.therapywithiga.com.

My first session

Initial Consultation & First Session

Finding the right counsellor or therapist can feel overwhelming, especially if you are feeling anxious, stuck, or unsure where to begin. To support you in taking this first step, I offer a free 15-minute introductory call, available by phone or online (Zoom).

This is a relaxed, no-obligation conversation where you can:

  • ask any questions you may have about counselling or therapy
  • share a little about what has been going on for you
  • explore whether my way of working feels right for you

I will also explain my therapeutic approach and how I might be able to support you, so you can make an informed decision about starting therapy.

What to expect in the first counselling session

It is completely natural to feel nervous when beginning therapy. In our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and clarifying what you would like help with. This initial assessment allows me to understand your needs, goals, and any previous experience of counselling.

I work at your pace and aim to create a supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. There is no pressure to share more than you feel ready to.

Each counselling session lasts 50 minutes.
