About me and my therapy practice
Hi and Welcome - I'm Iga,
Are you feeling overwhelmed by worry, struggling with self-doubt, or experiencing physical symptoms like tension, fatigue, or a racing heart without knowing why?
Anxiety can show up in many ways - sometimes as persistent fears and worries, and other times as physical discomfort with no clear cause. Low self-esteem or past trauma can also play a significant role, making anxiety feel even more overwhelming.
I understand this not only as a therapist but also from personal experience. Having struggled with anxiety when I was younger, I know how isolating and exhausting it can feel.
I specialise in helping adults understand and manage anxiety in all its forms, including Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), social anxiety, panic attacks, depression, burnout and the deeper self-worth challenges that often accompany them.
My approach is flexible and tailored to your unique needs, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities. Therapy is more than just talking and listening. I’ll help you step back and view your life from a different perspective. This new awareness will shed light on why you think, feel, and behave the way you do.
I also offer creative therapy (both online and face to face) for those interested in exploring art, journaling, or photography as tools for self-expression. These creative outlets can help you process emotions and experiences in a way that feels more accessible and freeing.
My goal is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can gain insight, develop self-awareness, and build a healthier relationship with anxiety and most importantly, with yourself.
I also have experience of working with other issues such as relationship or family issues, loss & bereavement, identity & belonging, perinatal mental health, inner-child healing, attachment and work & career related concerns.
I offer online counselling via Zoom to clients throughout the UK.
