About me and my therapy practice

Do you feel overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life?

Perhaps you’re living with stress, anxiety, or depression that feels hard to manage. Maybe you feel unheard, misunderstood, or as though you have to hide parts of yourself from the people around you. Or you might notice that past experiences are still shaping how you feel and behave today.

If any of this resonates, you don’t have to face it alone.

I offer a calm, non‑judgemental space where you can talk openly and honestly about whatever is weighing on you. Whether you want to explore your emotions, make sense of your experiences, or simply have somewhere to breathe and be yourself, you’ll be met with empathy and respect.

My approach is person‑centred, grounded in the belief that you already hold the wisdom you need to move forward. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you tune into your own voice, deepen your self‑understanding, and discover what feels right for you.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I have worked with people facing a wide range of challenges, including relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, stress, self-doubt, family issues, addiction, and bereavement.

I have extensively worked with LGBTQ+ clients navigating issues related to identity, homophobia, relationships, and HIV+ diagnoses. I also have experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with Asperger’s syndrome, autism and ADHD.

I am also a strategy coach, helping individuals manage stress and anxiety in the workplace, and a mental health mentor supporting mature students who struggle with their studies and/or their mental health.

Practice description

I offer online sessions via Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet.

I hold a First Class BSc (Hons) in Person-Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy and am a registered member of the BACP, working in accordance with their ethical framework.

I am DBS checked and fully insured.

My first session

To help you get a sense of whether I’m the right therapist for you, I offer a free 20‑minute initial consultation by phone or online chat. There’s no pressure or obligation to continue with sessions after that, it is just an opportunity to see how it feels to talk together.
