About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Yvonne, welcome to my profile.
Some losses don’t look obvious from the outside.
A friendship fading, a relationship ending, becoming a carer instead of a daughter, moving country, or not becoming the version of yourself you imagined.
Grief isn’t only about death. Sometimes it’s mourning a life, identity, future, or deep connection that mattered profoundly.
I also recognise that neurodivergent individuals can experience unique forms of grief and loss connected to identity, relationships, belonging, overwhelm, and everyday life.
My approach is informed by my volunteer work with Bereft Bereavement Support and Cruse Bereavement Support, where I have supported individuals through a range of emotional responses linked to loss.
I’m a fully qualified counsellor based in Uxbridge.

Practice description
The loss of someone or something close to you can bring a mix of intense and sometimes overwhelming emotions - sadness, despair, anger, or even relief, many of which can be hard to put into words. You may find yourself feeling numb, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to make sense of everything.
At A Grief Space I offer a confidential, respectful, and supportive space where you can talk openly about your grief.
Sessions are guided by what feels most important to you.
My first session
After I receive your enquiry I will be in touch to arrange an initial conversation. This gives us an opportunity to find out if counselling may be helpful for you, and for you to ask any questions you may have.
