About me and my therapy practice
Living in a mind that works differently can be exhausting, especially in a world that wasn’t designed for it. Maybe you’ve recently learned you’re neurodivergent and expected things to fall into place, but daily life still feels like too much. You might be waiting on an NHS assessment, or choosing not to seek one while still wanting to understand yourself better. Whatever your path, there’s room for you here. Together, we can explore: Burnout, overwhelm, emotional regulation, rejection sensitivity, perfectionism, self-doubt, executive functioning, demand avoidance, motivation, sensory needs, transitions
I blend Person-Centred Therapy, CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), drawing on each only when it truly fits what you need. Our work might involve gentle reflection, creative approaches, or practical, tailored strategies to try between sessions. We’ll go at a pace that feels manageable, with some encouragement to grow beyond your comfort zone.
As a neurodivergent therapist, I know firsthand how it feels when your brain doesn’t fit the expected mould, and many clients tell me that shared understanding makes a real difference. If you’d like to explore working together, let’s start with a free 15-minute call to see if we’re a good fit. There’s no obligation, just a relaxed, honest chat.
