About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I’m Duni, also known as Dee. I am a qualified therapist offering online and telephone counselling UK- wide to support adult clients.

I work with individuals who may be experiencing anxiety, bereavement, depression, trauma and other life concerns. I offer a non-judgmental space where you can explore your life events which may have left you feeling vulnerable, disempowered or confused.

In your sessions, we will explore your experiences which may be complex, sometimes confusing and always personal. I believe that no two people are the same, and there is no single approach to therapy that works for everyone. As an integrative therapist, my counselling is person-centred and I incorporate ideas and techniques from other therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This allows us to work collaboratively and flexibly, finding an approach that feels right for you and your individual circumstances.

Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting. You may not know exactly what you need, or even where to begin. In my sessions I offer you a dedicated time and space to slow down, talk honestly and explore whatever is on your mind.

Whether you are facing a specific difficulty or have a sense that things simply aren’t quite right, I can offer a supportive space in which we can begin to understand what you’re experiencing together.

As a member of the BACP, I am committed to its Ethical Framework, treating all my clients equally, avoiding harm and respecting your choices.
