Practice description
As a BACP-registered Integrative Counsellor and qualified Social Worker, I specialise in men’s mental health, emotional wellbeing and behaviour change. Through my private practice, MENSCAPE, I support young and adult men experiencing a range of personal, relationship, family and professional challenges.
I work with issues including anxiety and stress, low self-confidence, loneliness and social isolation, workplace and career pressures, relationships and communication, affairs and betrayal, fatherhood and parenting, separation and divorce, child contact, family difficulties, domestic abuse, anger and emotional regulation, financial pressures, addictions, loss and bereavement, and major life transitions.
My approach is holistic, practical and integrative, drawing on counselling, psychoeducation and therapeutic coaching. I aim to provide a respectful and non-judgemental space where men can talk openly, develop greater self-awareness and emotional resilience, and make meaningful changes in their lives and relationships.
As a Perpetrator Intervention Specialist (Domestic Abuse), I also work with men where abusive, harmful or unhealthy relationship behaviours have become a concern. This work focuses on accountability, victim awareness, emotional regulation, respectful communication, safer parenting and understanding the impact of behaviour on partners, former partners and children.
My professional background includes extensive experience as a Social Worker within Children’s Services, supporting children, parents and families where there have been complex needs and safeguarding concerns. I also have extensive criminal justice experience across Youth Offending, Probation and Prison settings.
This combination of counselling, social work, domestic abuse and criminal justice experience enables MENSCAPE to provide informed and specialist support where men’s emotional wellbeing, relationships, parenting and behaviour intersect.
