Working Hours:
I am available for work Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Holiday Availability:
I remain available during most public and bank holidays, including Easter. This allows for continuity and flexibility in service during times when others may be unavailable.
Time Off:
I reserve a small number of personal holidays, specifically during Christmas and Eid. During these periods, I will not be available.
Planned Absences:
Any planned absences will be communicated in advance whenever possible, with a minimum of one week' notice. I aim to ensure transparency and minimise any disruption to ongoing work or communication.
About me and my therapy practice
You may have reached a point where you know something isn't quite right, but you can't fully make sense of why. Perhaps you find yourself reacting to situations in ways you don't understand, repeating patterns in your relationships, or carrying something that you've kept to yourself for a long time.
You may have even found yourself thinking, "Why do I keep doing this?" or "Why do I react like that?" Sometimes the ways we respond to the world have developed because, at some point in our lives, they helped us cope, protect ourselves or feel safe. But what once helped us can sometimes begin to create difficulties of its own.
This is where I believe therapy can be valuable.
I want to help you slow things down and make sense of what is happening beneath the surface. We can look at the things you experience now and explore how they connect with your emotions, relationships, experiences and the ways you have learned to respond.
Sometimes, making a connection you hadn't seen before can change the way you understand yourself. You might begin to think, "I never thought of it like that."
For me, that moment is important. Not because understanding everything suddenly makes it disappear, but because awareness can create a possibility that wasn't there before: choice.
With continued reflection and therapeutic work, you may begin to find different ways of understanding yourself, responding to situations and moving through your life. And perhaps most importantly, begin to recognise that your experience does not have to remain exactly as it is today.
As a lead therapist in a rehabilitation setting, I have had the opportunity to work successfully with a wide range of people and difficulties. So, if what you're experiencing isn't listed here, don't assume that means I can't help. You're welcome to get in touch, tell me a little about what you're dealing with, and we can take it from there.

Practice description
I see therapy as something we explore together. I won't simply tell you what you should do or give you a list of things to change. Instead, I'll be curious about your experiences and work with you to understand what may be happening beneath them.
Sometimes, what brings you to therapy may seem straightforward at first, but as we talk, we may discover that there is more to it. An emotion such as anger might be protecting something more vulnerable underneath. A behaviour that you recognise is causing difficulties may also be something that has helped you cope in the past. Experiences that seem separate may begin to make more sense when we look at them together.
I pay attention to these connections. Sometimes I may reflect something back to you that you hadn't considered before, or bring your attention to something you've said previously that may connect with what you're experiencing now. This isn't about me telling you what your experience means. It's about us becoming curious about it together.
My approach is integrative, which means I draw on different therapeutic perspectives depending on what we're exploring and what feels appropriate for you. But you don't need to know anything about therapy or therapeutic approaches — that's my job. You just need to bring what you're experiencing, and we can work from there.
Most importantly, I want you to have space to be honest. You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what is wrong or have the right words to explain it. We can start from where you are and work from there.
I work with people experiencing a range of difficulties, including addiction, abuse and trauma, relationship difficulties, anxiety, low mood, self-esteem difficulties with emotions and South Asian backgrounds, including difficulties around identity, family, relationships and cultural expectations.
My first session
Your first session is 60 minutes. We'll spend some time at the beginning going through the practical side of therapy, including confidentiality, expectations and how we'll work together.
We'll then start talking about what has brought you to therapy and what you'd like help with. You don't need to have everything worked out beforehand or know exactly what you want to say. We can start with whatever feels most important to you.
From there, we'll begin to explore what you're experiencing and see where the conversation takes us. Every person is different, so I won't expect your first session to look exactly like someone else's.
What I can help with
