About me and my therapy practice
I offer a calm, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.
My approach is relational and grounded in the belief that meaningful change can emerge through a safe and authentic therapeutic relationship. I will not tell you what to do, but will work alongside you to deepen understanding, increase self-awareness, and support you in making sense of your experiences.
I am attentive not only to what you say, but also to what may feel difficult to express. Together, we may explore patterns in relationships, emotional responses, and ways of coping that developed for understandable reasons but may no longer serve you.
I work with adults experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, low self-esteem, loss, relationship difficulties, and feelings of disconnection or being stuck.
Therapy can sometimes feel challenging, but it can also bring relief, clarity, and a greater sense of self. My role is to support you with care, respect, and sensitivity throughout the process.
Practice description
I offer individual counselling for adults in a private and confidential setting. Sessions provide a dedicated space for you to speak openly about whatever feels important, without fear of judgement or pressure.
Clients often come to therapy when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves or others. You may be experiencing anxiety, loss, relationship difficulties, or a general sense that something does not feel right. You do not need to have a clear reason to begin therapy; sometimes the desire to understand yourself more deeply is enough.
My practice is grounded in creating emotional safety. I work at your pace and respect your autonomy at all times. Some clients seek short-term support around a specific issue, while others value longer-term therapy to explore deeper patterns and experiences.
I have experience working with a diverse range of clients and presentations, and I welcome you as you are.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to meet and begin to understand what brings you to therapy. There is no obligation to continue beyond this session.
You are welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable. Some clients arrive with a clear sense of what they would like to explore, while others are unsure. Both are welcome.
We will also discuss practical aspects such as confidentiality, session structure, and any questions you may have. This helps ensure you feel informed and able to decide whether working together feels right for you.
The first session is charged at the same rate as ongoing sessions.
Beginning therapy can feel like a significant step. My aim is to provide a space where you feel safe, respected, and able to be yourself.
