About me and my therapy practice

I offer a safe, warm, and confidential space where you can explore whatever’s going on for you – both inside and out, whether it’s about the past or present.

I view therapy as a journey we take together. As we explore your experiences and challenges, I’ll provide support, compassion, and fresh perspectives to help guide the process.

I have experience of working with a range of issues including:

  • Anxiety and depression.
  • Relationship issues be these romantic/ sexual or friendships.
  • Neurodiversity such as ADHD and Autism.
  • Mood swings and emotional issues before and during menstruation including severe PMS and PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder)
  • Body image issues and issues around eating/ disordered eating.
  • Experiences of marginalisation including racism, class-ism, homo/ transphobia, misogyny and able-ism. I offer a queer affirmative space.

These are just a few things that we can look at together and sometimes you might not be sure why you are coming to therapy, but you need the space to share and work through something, everything is welcome.

My approach is to work relationally, which means that I see the therapeutic relationship as fundamental to the process. This relational approach is often what can bring about true change.

I work integratively which means I will be using different tools and theories. We may draw on humanistic ideas such as person-centred therapy, which values your unique experiences and empowers you to make positive changes. We may also bring in existential and psychodynamic practices, such as attachment theory, to understand how your past relationships might be influencing your present.

I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling (level 7) from the Minster Centre in London. The Minster Centre is one of the leading integrative psychotherapy training centres in Europe.
