About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist specialised in working with children, young people and their families. I offer integrative, child-centred and nurturing therapeutic approach tailored to meet each individual's developmental needs. I have worked for Place2Be as a school therapist for more than 4 years alongside experiences as a sessional therapist in other private settings. 

I am passionate about my work with young people, and I have a special interest in supporting clients experiencing difficulties due to trauma. In addition, I am experienced in working with young people that are neurodivergent. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you feel your child needs support with their emotional and psychological well-being. I am here to listen and help.

*Integrative, child-centred and nurturing therapeutic approach underpinned by Play/Creative therapy, Psychodynamic, CBT and Mindfulness methods tailored to meet clients’ needs.

*Successful completion of a BACP Accredited MA program for Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy for Children, Adolescents and Families by Roehampton University.

*Trauma-informed Practitioner.

*Registered Member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) since 2022.

*Experience of working with children and young people (aged 4-18+) of a wide range of issues including anger, self-injurious thoughts and behaviour, anxiety, low-mood, mood dysregulation, relationships (family, friends) difficulties and trauma.

*Experience of working with neurodiversity (ADHD and ASD).

*Experience of working with diverse social-economic and cultural backgrounds.

*Experience of working with parent(s).

*Over 800 clinical hours with children and young people.

*Enhanced DBS Certification for working with children and vulnerable adults.

*Good awareness of safeguarding and risk management.

*Working within the BACP Ethical Framework, Confidentiality and Privacy Regulation.

*Fluent in English and Mandarin.

*Accepting New Referrals.
