About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I’m Olga.

I work mainly with adults in their 30s and 40s who may look capable on the outside but feel anxious, stuck, disconnected or unsure what they want anymore.

Perhaps you are questioning your relationship, career or direction, second-guessing yourself or wondering why the life you worked hard to build no longer quite fits.

You may also be looking back and noticing how past experiences, other people’s expectations or familiar relationship patterns are still shaping how you live today.

You do not need to be in crisis to come to therapy. Sometimes the starting point is simply knowing that something has changed and wanting to understand yourself more clearly.

My approach is active, warm and engaging. I listen deeply but I also ask questions, offer honest observations and help you notice patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

I work online in English, Russian or a mixture of both. Free 15-minute introductory call available.

Practice description

Therapy with me is a mutual exploration rather than a one-sided conversation. You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what is wrong, have a diagnosis or know what you are supposed to talk about.

I work integratively, drawing mainly on psychodynamic and humanistic approaches alongside psychoeducation and mind-body awareness.

Depending on what feels useful for you, sessions may also include breathwork, grounding, meditation, body awareness and metaphor.

My work often focuses on anxiety, overthinking, self-doubt, people-pleasing, boundaries, repeating relationship patterns, burnout, loss of confidence, identity questions, grief, migration and the impact of past experiences on the present.

I am warm, but I can also be direct. I am comfortable staying with uncertainty, discomfort and strong feelings. I will support you, but I will also encourage curiosity, honesty and responsibility for the changes you want to make.

I pay attention not only to what you think but also to what you feel, what happens in your relationships and what you notice in your body

We may explore where certain patterns began, how they continue in the present and whether they still serve you.

For some clients, therapy begins with a very specific problem. For others, it begins with a quieter sense that something is missing, that they no longer feel like themselves or that they are tired of going round in the same circles.

My aim is to offer a space where we can think together, make sense of what is happening and explore what feels true and important to you without rushing towards a fixed answer.

Online sessions are 50 minutes and cost £60.

My first session

I offer a free 15-minute introductory call before starting therapy.

This is an informal conversation rather than a therapy session. It gives us a chance to see how it feels to speak together, hear a little about what is bringing you to therapy and discuss whether I may be able to help.

We can also check practical details such as availability, fees and online working.

There is no expectation to tell your whole story in 15 minutes, and you do not need to prepare anything in advance. If you are unsure what you want to work on, that is absolutely fine.

If we decide to work together, I will email you an intake form and a copy of our therapy agreement to read before the first full session.

In our first 50-minute session, we will start to explore what has brought you to therapy, what feels most important at the moment and what you would like from our work.

You are welcome to bring a clear goal, several different concerns, or simply the sense that something does not feel right.

I will explain how I work and you can ask questions about the process.

Together we can begin to identify themes, patterns or areas that may be useful to explore, while allowing this understanding to develop over time rather than forcing a fixed plan immediately.

Finding the right therapist matters. If either of us feels that I am not the best fit for your needs, we can discuss this openly.
