Availability
I have current availability for:
- In-person sessions at a counselling practice on Wednesdays and Thursdays in the afternoon and evening
- Online or telephone sessions throughout the remainder of the week.
I know that consistent weekly slots are not convenient for everyone, and I currently have a small number of bi-weekly session slots should this be what works best for you.
If you’d like to know more or arrange a first session, please feel free to get in touch, I’d be glad to talk this through further.
About me and my therapy practice
You may have a clear understanding of what brings you here to find a counsellor, or you may find that hard to put into words, either way I am so glad that you're taking this first essential step towards receiving support.
I am a Person-Centred Pluralistic Counsellor who welcomes all into a warm, non-judgemental space to support you with whatever has bought you here. I like to work collaboratively to empower you as much as possible throughout our time together to get what you need from the therapy process.
I am trained to incorporate creative methods and self compassionate mindfulness and am open to exploring how these might fit into our sessions to support you with expressing that which might feel difficult to put into words.
Practice description
I am fully-qualified with over 800 hours of therapeutic practice both in-person and remotely where I have supported individuals with an extensive range of topics.
I welcome all identities and gender expressions. I am committed to a practice that is anti-racist and LGBTQIA+ inclusive.
My first session
I offer a free 15 minute introductory phone call to help give you a sense of whether you'd like to begin working together. This might be an opportunity for you to ask initial questions or discuss your hopes and expectations of therapy. There is no expectation to commit further.
If you decide to begin, the first full session is offered at half my usual fee. This gives an opportunity to experience what therapy with me might be like. You can expect this first session to be a gentle exploration of what's brought you here and to start to think about the work me might do together going forward.
