About me and my therapy practice
Life can be incredibly lonely and overwhelming when we don't have the space to safely and honestly explore our thoughts and emotions. Sometimes social taboos inhibit us from being ourselves, making us doubt and criticise how we actually feel. Other times, the emotions and thought-patterns we're experiencing seem too 'big' to talk to anyone about. This is where having counselling can make a difference. I strive to offer a space where people can give voice to what is happening for them without being judged. As self-exploration can bring up unexpected feelings, I'm here to support you in that process.
Practice description
I offer individual counselling to adults in London SW6, each session lasting 50 mins. I see clients either online or in-person depending on the day so please see the Availability section.
Once you've sent me an email enquiry, I will let you know the slots I have open for therapy (as availability is likely to change) and invite you to a video call for up to <30 mins.
After this, you'll be given a week to decide if you'd like to have further sessions. Your preferred slot will be kept open for you but if I don't hear back after a week has passed I'll release the spot to others. I'm on hand to answer any questions about the process and look forward to hearing from you.
My first session
The first video call lasting up to 30 mins will involve going over what brings you to therapy and how the issues you'd like support with have been/are showing up in your life, as well as an overview of your history and background, e.g., family and medical. If there are any issues that I am currently not qualified to work with I will mention this and suggest a referral.
