About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative counsellor working with adults who are experiencing a range of emotional challenges, including anxiety, feeling overwhelmed or stuck, coping with loss and bereavement, and navigating significant life transitions. I offer a reflective, supportive space for clients to explore what is happening in their lives and what may be getting in the way of change.
Clients often come to counselling feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Through therapy, many find they gain greater clarity, feel more grounded, and develop a kinder, more compassionate understanding of themselves and their experiences.
I have a particular interest in working with people navigating challenges around parenthood, including difficult or unexpected journeys to becoming a parent. This can include experiences of infertility, pregnancy or infant loss, and the emotional impact these experiences can have on identity, relationships, and wellbeing. I also work with clients experiencing anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, and periods of transition or uncertainty.
Practice description
My approach is integrative and client-led, meaning I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and adapt my work to each individual. It is important to me that clients feel heard, understood, and supported, and I pay close attention to the therapeutic relationship and how we are working together. We will work at a pace that feels manageable, whether that involves exploring past experiences or focusing more on the present-day.
I offer 50-minute sessions, usually on a weekly basis at the same time each week. I work with both short-term therapy (around 6–12 sessions) and longer-term counselling, depending on a client’s needs and goals.
I hold an Advanced Professional Diploma in Integrative Counselling and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have worked across a range of counselling services, offering both long-term counselling and shorter, bereavement-focused support. Alongside my private practice, I work at a local bereavement service.
I am an accredited practitioner with the Foundation for Infant Loss and hold their Infertility and Rainbow Baby Specialist certificates. I regularly update my training to support my ongoing learning and to offer the best possible support to the people I work with.
