About me and my therapy practice
You may find yourself overthinking, feeling overwhelmed, or caught in patterns you don't quite understand. Perhaps something in your life has changed, relationships feel difficult, or you're struggling to make sense of feelings you've carried for a long time. You might appear to be coping on the outside while feeling very different on the inside.
I'm Daniel, an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, offering a thoughtful, supportive space to explore what's happening in your life and what might lie beneath the surface.
I work with people of all backgrounds who are navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, intrusive thoughts, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or a sense of feeling stuck or disconnected. Whatever brings you to therapy, you don't need to have all the answers before we begin.
My approach is humanistic and relational, shaped around you and your individual experiences. I aim to create a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Together, we can make sense of patterns, understand how past experiences may influence the present, and explore what matters to you, helping you find greater clarity, meaning and connection with yourself and others.
My qualifications include an MSc in Psychotherapy from the University of Brighton, and I am a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
Practice description
In my practice, I offer relational, trauma-informed counselling and psychotherapy grounded in a humanistic and integrative approach. I provide a confidential, empathic and non-judgemental space where you can explore anxiety, emotional overwhelm, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief and life's challenges at your own pace.
I offer face-to-face sessions at a therapy centre in Hastings, as well as online and telephone sessions. Together, we can explore your experiences, make sense of patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships. My aim is to support you in finding greater clarity, meaning and connection, while helping you feel heard, understood and supported throughout the process.
My first session
I offer an initial, free 15-minute session to introduce ourselves. This consultation allows you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about therapy, about me and how I work to ensure I am the right therapist for you.
If we agree that we’re a fit, then in our first session we can explore your needs, expectations and goals from therapy, then we can establish how to best support you moving forward to ensure clarity and mutual understanding.
