About me and my therapy practice
With over 18 years of experience in psychotherapy, visual arts, ceramics, and social entrepreneurship, I bring a multidisciplinary perspective to my roles as Integrative Psychotherapist and Trainee Clinical Supervisor. My work across these fields has deepened my understanding of cultural identity, creativity, and the varied ways people express themselves and find meaning. This background allows me to engage sensitively and authentically with clients from both collectivist and individualist cultures.
I create a welcoming and inclusive therapeutic environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds can address concerns such as trauma, anxiety, grief, sexuality, and relationship challenges. My practice is rooted in trauma-informed care, LGBTQ+ affirmation, and cultural competence, with a strong commitment to respecting each client’s individuality, autonomy, and lived experience.
As a Transcultural Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapist, I tailor each therapeutic process to my clients' unique needs, drawing on Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic approaches informed by Freudian and Jungian theory.
In addition to my clinical training and ongoing professional development, I hold a Master’s degree in Multimedia Arts and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
Practice description
Step into a welcoming and compassionate space where your voice truly matters. I draw on trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approaches, shaping our work together to honor your unique story, values, and rhythm.
With a wealth of experience, I support people facing challenges such as trauma, grief, PTSD, sexuality, self-harm, relationship struggles, and navigating different cultures. I am especially dedicated to helping those impacted by complex trauma, including survivors of human trafficking, modern slavery, and domestic violence.
At the heart of my practice is a promise to nurture a safe and caring environment, where you can explore your experiences, emotions, and identity with genuine respect and growing confidence.
My first session
In our initial 50-minute session, I offer a welcoming and confidential environment to explore the reasons you are seeking therapy, discuss your current concerns, and identify your hopes and goals for our work together. I will conduct an initial assessment to better understand your well-being and determine how my therapeutic approach can best support you. You will also have the chance to ask questions and reflect on whether this collaboration aligns with your needs.
