I’m a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor and Holistic Life Coach. Being integratively trained means that I have knowledge of different counselling approaches, which I can draw from and adapt to fit your individual needs. I may also use elements from coaching where appropriate.
The work is shaped around you and what you bring to each session, allowing space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a confidential, non-judgemental, and supportive environment.
My practice is neurodiversity-affirming. I recognise that experiences such as masking, overwhelm, burnout, anxiety, or feeling misunderstood can affect many areas of life and relationships. I aim to create a space where you can feel heard, understood, and able to be yourself without pressure or judgement.
I also recognise the impact that identity, race, culture, and lived experience can have on how we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through the world. I have an interest in men’s mental health and understand that many people can find it difficult to openly talk about their emotions, experiences, or the pressures they may carry.
My role is to be present with you and alongside you, to listen and hear your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgement. For me, the relationship we build is at the centre of the work, and it’s through this that things can begin to shift over time.
Practice description
You might be thinking about counselling because something doesn’t feel quite right, because a situation feels stuck, or because you’re ready for things to change but aren’t sure how.
I work with adults who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, low mood, stress, anger, loss, relationship difficulties, confidence and self-esteem issues, or repeating patterns that no longer feel helpful.
At times, these experiences can begin to affect different areas of life, including relationships, work, studies, home life, or day-to-day wellbeing. You may also be faced with a decision, a dilemma, or feel unsure how to move forward.
I also work with neurodiverse clients, including those with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and those exploring whether they may have a neurodivergence.
Together, we take the time to understand what may be shaping things for you, helping you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences.
I offer consistent weekly 50-minute appointments in Brighton (East Sussex), as well as online sessions across the UK and internationally.
