About me and my therapy practice

If you’re struggling to leave your desk at 5pm because there’s still things on your to do list, and work fills up your thoughts even when you’re meant to be resting, I’m here.

You’re always the first one to point out your mistake in a presentation, and even when everyone else says you did great - you still don’t believe it yourself. The annoyance and worry when you say something weirdly in a meeting or send a typo in an email is daily, if not hourly.

This is the career you’ve wanted for years, and there are moments that are enjoyable. But still, the day to day grind is building over time and some days you actually dread the thought of going into work - then you feel guilty for seeming ungrateful.

Your chores and DIY at home start piling up because you spend every evening and weekend socialising and recovering. It’s great when you do actually hit your goal, but the celebration and pride in your achievement doesn’t seem to last very long.

The advice is always “set boundaries”, “say no more” and “just distract yourself”. But, the difference it’d make if you can find someone who actually gets why you keep setting the bar higher and higher without realising, because there’s always room to improve (that’s me by the way).

Together, we can rewire those unhelpful thoughts patterns to get away from the harsh self-criticism and overwhelming expectations. My clients leave therapy with genuine self-confidence and find the perfect balance between their ambition and their human need for rest.

Your drive and motivation isn’t a problem we need to get rid of, it’s what’s got you to where you are today. It’s a strength we can capitalise on, by working with it.

If you’d love to actually enjoy your work again, and find success without the constant pressure, I’m here for you.
