My first session
If you are interested in working with me, I would encourage you to contact me for a free 20 minute discovery call. This gives us a chance to briefly discuss your needs and my ability to help, and for you to ask any questions. If we decide to move forward, I'll send a client intake form to be completed before your first session.
The initial 50 minute session is an opportunity to further explore what brings you to therapy, as well as, your hopes, expectations and desired goals and outcomes.
At the end of the session, there's no obligation to commit - time is given for you to reflect and decide if continuing feels right for you.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a warm, genuine and attentive counsellor working in an integrative and relational way.
My approach is grounded in psychodynamic and person-centred thinking. This allows therapy to stay shaped around your individual and unique experience, while also gently exploring how your past experiences, relationships and life events may continue to influence your thoughts, feelings, and patterns in the present.
The relationship we build together is an important part of the work. I aim to offer authentic and supportive space where you feel heard, valued and understood. Therapy is collaborative and your experience, pace and feedback help shape how we work together.
I engage in regular supervision, reflection and ongoing professional development to ensure my practice remains safe and ethical.
Practice description
Who I work with
I have a particular interest in supporting people experiencing:
- Anxiety and persistent worry
- Overthinking and rumination
- Self-doubt, imposter syndrome and low confidence
- Burnout and emotional exhaustion
- Feeling stuck, disconnected, or insure how to move forward
- Life and career transitions
- Relationship and family difficulties
- Grief, bereavement and loss
- ADHD-related challenges
- Identity, cultural and life experience issues
- Personal growth and self-development
Together, we can explore what's happening beneath the surface and develop a clearer understanding of your experience.
What you can expect
Sessions offer a space to talk about what feels difficult, unclear or emotionally heavy.
We start with what feels most present for you, with no pressure to have things organised or figured out. It can take time to settle in and feel comfortable, and we will go one step at a time.
I will listen for patterns and themes in how you experience yourself and others. I may share reflections where helpful, and we will explore your thoughts together as they come up.
Where helpful, we may include journaling, worksheets or visual prompts between sessions.
Over time, this can help things feel lighter, clearer and more manageable.
My first session
If we decide to move forward, I will send a short in-take form, along with a counselling agreement and online session guide before the first session.
This helps you understand more of how we will work together and gives me a sense of your support needs.
The first session is 50 minutes and gives space to explore your current situation in more depth, along with what you hope to gain from therapy.
At the end of the session there is no pressure to decide right away. you're welcome to take some time if needed, to reflect before deciding whether to continue.
If you decide to start, we begin working together once the counselling agreement has been signed.
If you're ready to take the next step, you can get in touch via email or visit my website to arrange an introductory call.
