About me and my therapy practice

I offer counselling to adults who want to work through life’s challenges in a supportive environment. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface, untangle what feels confusing, and help you find clarity, balance, and hope.

In our sessions, you’ll experience a calm space, giving you the freedom to explore at your own pace. I won’t tell you what to do; instead, I’ll help you connect with your own inner wisdom. When change comes from within, it’s more authentic, sustainable, and truly your own.

When words fall short, I use creative methods that can offer new ways to express and understand what’s going on within a non-judgemental space.

Everyone is unique, but I normally follow this process:

• See, notice what’s affecting you

• Feel, make sense of your emotions and experiences

• Grow, discover ways to move toward the life you want

• Root, embed your insights and growth so they last

I became a counsellor because I believe life is meant to be lived fully not in fear or uncertainty. I’ve experienced times when I felt stuck, confused, and unsure which way to turn, so I understand how heavy that can feel.

My background in grief counselling has taught me that even in the darkest, most challenging moments, it’s possible to find insight, clarity, and transformation. I can help you move toward balance, meaning, and a greater sense of ease in your life.

My professional training includes :

• Level 2 & 3 CPCAB

• Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling

• Level 5 diploma in Therapeutic Counselling

• BSc Psychology with Biology

Outside of work, I’m usually exploring Worcestershire’s green spaces, reading or hunting for that perfect cup of coffee!

Practice description

Some of the reasons people come to see me include:

  • Feeling stuck or uneasy without knowing why
  • Grief, loss, and bereavement
  • Going through life changes or transitions
  • Anxiety, stress, or overwhelm
  • Low self-esteem or self-worth
  • Searching for a deeper sense of direction

Many clients find that meeting weekly feels most supportive, and may choose to move to biweekly sessions as our work together comes to a close.

Life is rarely tidy! If the above doesn’t reflect what's happening for you right now, feel free to get in touch. I’d be happy to talk it through.

My first session

We will meet in a warm and welcoming space either in person or online where you will be at the centre of our work together.

This is a collaborative process, during which I will explain more about how we can work together, and you will have the opportunity to share your preferences on how you would like your sessions to be.

I provide a free 20-minute phone chat so you can get a comfortable sense of how I work and whether it feels right for you.

Depending on your goals for therapy, we will develop a plan together to determine the best way forward, always guided by your needs and wishes. Moving forward, we will have regular reviews to reflect on how you are feeling about the sessions and to discuss any remaining topics or concerns.
