I offer trauma-informed, relational therapy for individuals and couples, working primarily online across the UK. My work focuses on understanding relational patterns, emotional roles, and long-standing dynamics, rather than managing symptoms in isolation.
I support clients navigating difficult relationship or family dynamics, including the longer-term effects of emotional or psychological harm, confusion, or controlling patterns. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and self-aware, yet find themselves repeatedly over-functioning, accommodating others, or carrying emotional responsibility within relationships or families.
My approach is grounded, thoughtful, and non-patronising. I work collaboratively, helping clients slow things down enough to recognise patterns, understand how these developed over time, and build steadier ways of relating that feel realistic and sustainable. This work is suited to those who want clarity, emotional steadiness, and meaningful change that holds up in real life, rather than quick fixes or prescriptive advice.
I offer therapy sessions on weekdays. Some flexibility may be possible by arrangement.
I work mainly online via Zoom, which supports consistent weekly sessions across the UK and allows for depth and continuity, particularly for clients balancing work, family, or location constraints. In-person sessions may be available by arrangement.
I offer a free 15-minute introductory phone or video call. This is a brief, focused conversation to discuss what you’re looking for, check availability, and consider whether my way of working feels like a good fit.
Therapy with me is usually weekly and ongoing rather than one-off or crisis-only support. I work best with clients who are able to engage reflectively over time.
Fees:
Individual therapy: £65 (60 minutes)
Couples therapy: £100 (60 minutes)
I work within the scope of my current training and qualifications and under specialist supervision.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer trauma-informed, relational therapy that is grounded, clear, and non-patronising. My aim is to create a collaborative therapeutic space where you can explore your experiences honestly, at a pace that feels emotionally safe and steady.
Many clients come to me feeling worn down, confused, or disconnected after years of navigating difficult relationships or family dynamics. Some have experienced emotional or psychological harm, chronic invalidation, or roles that required them to over-function, accommodate others, or suppress their own needs. Often there is a desire not only to feel better, but to understand what has been happening and why.
My work supports clients to recognise relational patterns, clarify boundaries, and rebuild trust in their own perceptions and emotional responses. I focus on helping you make sense of your inner and relational world in a way that restores agency, steadiness, and self-respect, without judgement or agenda.
I work in an attuned, thoughtful way, offering presence, reflection, and gentle challenge where it supports insight and change. While my approach is informed by trauma-aware, somatic, and depth-oriented perspectives, I don’t impose a fixed model or interpretation. Therapy is shaped by what is most relevant to you and your lived experience.
I work best with clients who are looking for an engaged, reflective process rather than quick fixes or surface-level reassurance, and who want to build understanding that holds up beyond the therapy room.
Practice description
My practice offers a calm, focused space for therapeutic work that is thoughtful, respectful, and paced to support meaningful change. I work primarily online, offering a consistent weekly session structure that allows trust, insight, and emotional steadiness to develop over time.
Sessions are collaborative and client-led, with gentle structure where it supports clarity. I pay close attention to emotional patterns, relational dynamics, and the ways past experiences continue to shape present relationships, self-belief, and behaviour. Rather than offering advice or quick solutions, I support you to think, feel, and reflect more clearly, building understanding alongside practical grounding.
I work in a trauma-aware, non-intrusive way, with sensitivity to issues of power, safety, and boundaries. This includes an awareness of how chronic stress, emotional harm, or long-term invalidation can affect the nervous system, capacity for connection, and sense of agency.
I place importance on emotional containment and pacing, so therapy remains supportive without becoming overwhelming or diffuse. You can expect me to be engaged, attentive, and honest in my responses. I value clarity, mutual respect, and emotional integrity, and I aim to create a space where difficult experiences can be explored without pressure to perform, explain, or justify yourself.
My first session
Before beginning therapy, I offer a free 15-minute introductory phone or video call. This is a brief, focused conversation to talk through what’s bringing you to therapy, clarify any practical questions, and get a sense of whether my way of working feels like a good fit for you.
If we decide to proceed, I’ll send you a therapy agreement outlining confidentiality, boundaries, fees, and session arrangements. Once this is in place, we’ll agree a regular weekly session time.
Therapy sessions are 60 minutes and are usually held weekly. Sessions currently take place online via Zoom, with limited in-person sessions available by arrangement. I recommend having a private, uninterrupted space so you can engage fully and safely in the work.
The first full session is the beginning of the therapeutic process rather than a formal assessment. We’ll start by focusing on what feels most important for you, working at a pace that supports clarity, emotional safety, and containment. Therapy is an ongoing, collaborative process, and we’ll review and adjust the work together as it develops over time.
