About me and my therapy practice
I bring warmth, emotional depth, and clarity to the therapeutic space. My intention is to offer a grounded, collaborative relationship where you can safely explore your patterns, emotions, and lived experience — without judgement or agenda.
Clients often come to me feeling disconnected, confused, or like they’ve lost touch with their inner voice. Our work gently supports you to reconnect with your truth, clarify your boundaries, and process difficult or complex relational experiences. I value honesty, nuance, and emotional sovereignty — and I honour how much courage it takes to step into healing.
My style is intuitive and attuned. I offer presence, challenge when it’s needed, and space to make sense of your experience in your own time. While I draw from a wide range of models (including somatic, Jungian, and trauma-informed approaches), I don’t impose a fixed method. I listen for what’s true for you.
Clients often describe feeling deeply seen, validated, and empowered in our sessions. Whether we’re working through longstanding pain, navigating relationship repair, or supporting nervous system regulation, I bring a steady, respectful presence to the process.
Practice description
My practice offers a calm, focused space for therapeutic work that is thoughtful, respectful, and paced to suit you. I work online and provide a consistent weekly session structure, allowing time for trust, understanding, and meaningful change to develop over time.
Sessions are collaborative and client-led, while also gently structured. I pay close attention to emotional patterns, relational dynamics, and the impact of past experiences on present life. Rather than offering quick fixes or advice, I support you to think, feel, and reflect more clearly — building insight alongside emotional regulation and practical grounding.
I work in a way that is trauma-aware and non-intrusive, with sensitivity to issues of power, safety, and boundaries. This includes an awareness of how chronic stress, relational harm, or long-term invalidation can affect the nervous system, sense of self, and capacity for connection.
You can expect me to be engaged, attentive, and honest in my responses. I value clarity, mutual respect, and emotional integrity, and I aim to create a space where difficult experiences can be explored without pressure to perform, explain, or justify yourself.
Before starting therapy, I offer a free 15-minute introductory call to answer questions and help you decide whether my way of working feels right for you.
My first session
Before beginning therapy, I offer a free 15-minute introductory video or phone call. This gives us a chance to briefly discuss what’s bringing you to therapy, clarify any practical questions, and consider whether my way of working feels like a good fit.
If we decide to proceed, I’ll send you a therapy contract outlining confidentiality, boundaries, fees, and session arrangements. Once this is agreed, we’ll set a regular weekly session time.
Therapy sessions are 60 minutes and are usually held weekly. Sessions currently take place online via Zoom, with limited in-person sessions available by arrangement. I recommend having a private, uninterrupted space for sessions so you can engage fully in the work.
The first full session is a continuation of the therapeutic process rather than a formal assessment. We’ll begin by exploring what feels most important for you, at a pace that supports clarity and emotional safety.
