Availability

I currently have a small number of spaces available for new clients, offering both online and face-to-face sessions. I work weekdays, with a mix of daytime and some evening availability.

I try to keep things as flexible as possible, so if my current times don’t quite work, you’re still very welcome to get in touch and we can see what might be possible or arrange a short waiting list.

I aim to offer a consistent, reliable space for our work together and will always be open about my availability from the start.

I do take occasional breaks throughout the year and will always give plenty of notice so we can plan around them.

About me and my therapy practice

I’m an integrative counsellor, which means I draw on different approaches depending on you and what you need. There’s no set way we have to work  we can go at your pace and focus on what feels most important to you.

I offer a warm, relaxed space where you can talk openly and be yourself, without judgment or pressure. You don’t need to have the “right” words or even know where to start we can gently figure that out together.

Our relationship is an important part of the work, and I aim to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood. From there, we can begin to explore whatever you’re carrying, whether that’s something from the past or something that’s showing up in your life right now.

I may support you in noticing patterns, making sense of your experiences, and finding ways to cope that feel right for you.

I have a particular interest in supporting LGBTQIA+ clients, and I also work with things like anxiety, low mood, identity, relationships, and loneliness.

Above all, this is your space  a place where you can bring whatever you need, just as you are.

Practice description

I offer counselling from a private space in Angel, Islington, as well as online sessions. Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place weekly, as consistency can really help the work feel grounded and meaningful.

At the beginning, we’ll take some time to get a sense of what’s bringing you to counselling and what you’d like from it. There’s no pressure to have clear goals  we can work that out together as things unfold.

How we work will depend on you. Some sessions might be more reflective and exploratory, others might focus on making sense of current challenges or finding ways to cope day-to-day. I’ll always follow your pace and what feels most helpful.

I don’t believe there’s a “right” way to do counselling  instead, it’s about building something that feels useful and supportive for you over time.

Alongside my private practice, I draw on ongoing professional development and experience working with a range of people and presenting issues. I have a particular interest in identity, relationships, and supporting LGBTQIA+ clients.

If you decide to get in touch, we can arrange a brief initial chat to see whether working together feels like the right fit.

My first session

I’ll usually ask a few gentle questions to help me understand a bit more about you and what you’re hoping for from counselling. This isn’t an assessment as such, just a way of getting a sense of what support might be most helpful.

We’ll also use the time to see how it feels talking together and whether it feels like a good fit. That sense of connection is really important, and you’re very welcome to take time after the session to decide if you’d like to continue.

My standard session fee applies to the first appointment, and ongoing sessions are usually held weekly at the same time.
